"R-Reedpaw?" Sparrowstream stammered, and let out a wail of grief. Her mother Hollyfur came and licked her ears, Sparrowstream wailed her agony to StarClan. Darkpool stalked over, patted her on the back, and walked to her den. She came back with a root that would calm Sparrowstream's grief, she gave it to the poor grieving warrior. It had been hard losing a loved one. Darkpool had lost her youngest sister Lillypaw to an adder. It had been heartbreaking for Darkpool, but when Lillypaw died, they were all apprentices; Darkpaw, Streampaw, Lillypaw. But Lillypaw had died before any of them became warriors (and a medicine cat) let alone senior warriors! (And senior medicine cat) Darkpool saw Streamline standing nearby and looking frozen in trauma; Sparrowstream's reaction to his death reminded her and Darkpool of Lillypaw's death all to well. She saw Hollyfur's eyes suddenly go horrified. Darkpool heard her whisper one thing.

"Stormeyes." Hollyfur muttered. Darkpool was confused, what does she mean by Stormeyes? Is she saying he's the one who killed Reedpaw? She thought as she twitched her tail.

"Hollyfur." She said. The light gray she-cat shook herself and moved to the medicine cat.

"Yes? Darkpool?" Hollyfur asked.

"What do you know about this death?"

"S-stormeyes had blood in his mouth on patrol, and now Reedpaw's dead, from a death bite."

"Are you saying Stormeyes is a traitor?" Wreneyes growled from out of nowhere.

"Yes. He did it." Hollyfur said, shaking out her fur. Wreneyes' face contorted to fury.

"He what?" She snarled. "I'm about to go kill him and throw him on the thunder path."

"Don't!" Hollyfur shouted. She looked anxiously at Stormeyes. Wreneyes rolled her eyes.

"I'm kidding. But traitors deserve to die." The deputy hissed. Hollyfur ignored it.

"I really do love him." Hollyfur murmured. Darkpool interjected quickly,

"You love a traitor?" She hissed.

"I do-but-I~" Hollyfur stammered, but Wreneyes cut her off.

"Then you're a traitor too!" Wreneyes whirled on Hollyfur, her eyes blazing.

"N-no! Wreneyes! I'm- I'm a RiverClan cat! You can kill him! Just don't kick me out!" Hollyfur yowled, her eyes pleading.

"Fine. Stormeyes will be dead by tomorrow." Wreneyes snarled. Hollyfur flinched at her strong tone.

"Alright. I'm sorry."

"I can't believe he's dead! He's joining his mother now..." Cloudstorm had been mates with Whitetail and had fathered Reedpaw. He had been heartbroken when his mate had been killed. And now his son was dead too. "He would have been such a great warrior. Just as good as his mother. Owlpelt taught him well."

"Lillypaw would have been a great Warrior too." Darkpool said softly, she blinked back tears of grief at the thought of her dear sister. She saw Streamline crying nearby; not only for Lillypaw, but for Reedpaw; she had really cared for him as her own when Whitetail died. Darkpool went and licked Streamline's head. They shared tongues for a bit, until Sparrowstream came and joined them. The young Warrior sat with them, grooming herself whilst crying.

"It's alright, Reedpaw's in StarClan, he's watching you and hoping you'll join him honorably. He guides your paws as you make your journey," Streamline whispered. Sparrowstream shuddered softly and pressed her black pelt closer to them. Darkpool smiled softly.

"Streamline's right. I can try to talk to him for you." Darkpool offered.

"You can?" Sparrowstream's head shot up.

"I can. I'll talk to him tonight."

"Attention! RiverClan! Come together for a clan meeting!" Featherstar shouted. "I'm sure we're all shaken by Reedpaw's death. We will sit vigil for him tonight-" Wreneyes interrupted by whispering something to Featherstar.

"And... Stormeyes... Will you come up here?" Featherstar asked, looking curiously at Wreneyes. The Tom trotted up, looking equally as confused. And he looked even more so when Wreneyes lunged at him, snarling. She pinned him to the ground.

"Spit it out! You killed him! You killed your daughter's best friend!" She snarled.

"Maybe I did." He said, flashing a sly smile. "I did it so Sparrowstream can learn that nothing goes her way. The world decides. Not StarClan. Go on! Kill me!"

"Gladly" Wreneyes said. Sparrowstream yelped. Darkpool knew the young warrior was horrified. Wreneyes shook herself, ready for the death blow. But before she could land it, Stormeyes slid under from beneath her and leapt onto her back, Wreneyes snarled at him and shoved him off of her. Stormeyes slid under her and tripped her so he could pin the deputy to the ground. Featherstar hissed and leapt onto him, trying to pull him off of Wreneyes. But he was stronger. Stormeyes kicked Featherstar into the ground. Wreneyes thrashed on the rock, Stormeyes prepared for the death blow. Wreneyes twisted but he bit down hard on her neck, Wreneyes roared and in her last moment she shouted,

"Avenge Me!" And she was gone.

So there's been a lot of death lately... I'll try to slow it down! I promise! The new chapter goal is 10 now! :D
