Ragini wanted nothing more than for the earth to swallow her whole. The realization hit like a ton of bricks—it was Akash who had a liking for Krupa, not Karanveer

Karanveer had left for office, and Ragini, still frustrated because of the Bangalore incident dialed Siya's number, she paced around the room as she vented her frustration. Siya, on the other end, couldn't stop laughing. "Oh my God, Ragini. You're so dramatic!"

"Stop laughing!" Ragini demanded, frustration evident in her tone.

Still chuckling, Siya narrated the actual events, detailing how Akash had been smitten with Krupa in college, and Karanveer had no involvement at all. Ragini felt her stomach drop. She gulped, realizing she'd completely misjudged the situation.

But Siya didn't stop there. "You know what this is, don't you? You were jealous!"

"I was not!" Ragini shot back, her tone defensive.

"Oh, please. You totally were!" Siya teased relentlessly.

After several more rounds of back-and-forth, Ragini finally exploded, "Fine! So what if I was jealous? He's bloody my husband!"

The triumphant silence on Siya's end lasted only a moment before she burst into peals of laughter.

But then, Ragini's world froze. Turning slightly, she saw something that made her heart drop. Karanveer stood at the door, arms crossed, mouth wide open in mock shock, his eyes fixed intently on her.

Her phone slipped from her hand in horror, landing with a clatter. It was on speaker. It had been on video call. He had heard everything.

"K-Karanveer..." she stammered, her face flushed crimson.

He stepped forward, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "So...did I just hear my wife admitting she was jealous?"

Ragini tried to escape, but he blocked her way with ease.

"Someone pinch me—am I dreaming?" he teased, his voice dripping with amusement.

Having had enough, Ragini actually pinched him hard on the arm.

"Ow!" he yelped, startled, but before he could react further, Ragini darted out of the room.

She didn't get far before she heard his loud, infectious laughter echoing through the house. It only made her cheeks burn hotter, the embarrassment following her like a shadow.

The whole day had passed in a blur, with Karanveer leaving no opportunity to tease Ragini while she did her best to avoid him. He even canceled his meetings, staying home solely to be around her, which only added to her exasperation. By lunchtime, Arjun, Anditha, and Mihir had returned, and they exchanged curious glances looking at the couple, but no one said anything.

As night fell, Ragini decided not to return to their room, making the excuse of engagement-related tasks that needed sorting. She worked diligently, seeking the quiet solace of the garden once her chores were done. The cool breeze and peaceful ambiance calmed her mind as she spent time with Ash, who was now asleep in her arms. Putting him in his cot she decided to return to their room.

It was almost 1am and she was convinced that Karanveer would be fast asleep by now. She entered the room with a sigh of relief, finding the lights dimmed and his form hidden under the blanket.

"Thank God," she murmured to herself as she sat on the bed, only to be abruptly engulfed in the blanket.

Startled, she let out a scream that quickly died down as Karanveer's laughter filled the room. "You should've seen your face!" he said, grinning mischievously.
