Uh oh! The tickle beams! Gaster's "infamous" tickle beams! Hehehe. Yes, after all this time, the tickle beams are now in effect and doing what they do best. :D And the more tickles the kids endure from said beams, the closer the four of them are to finding out if Gaster himself is or isn't ticklish! ;) They hope! Though, after learning of Gaster's telepathy ability, finding out if he is or isn't ticklish himself is appearing to be more and more of a likely possibility! :)

Chapter 9: The Point of No Return

Sometime later...

Gaster: Hehehehe. So, you kids want to know how much longer I'm intending to tickle you, huh? *asked Gaster cheekily, after being informed by each of the kids that not knowing how much tickling they have left to endure is more torture for them than the tickling itself*

Chara: Oh, holy fudge, yes! Yes!

Asriel: As my dear Ellie and MK's dear Mona would say, "Yes, please! Oh, pretty please, freaky-looking dude! Please!"

Chara: Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Gaster: Hehehehe. You really want to know? *asked Gaster even more cheekily, further fueling the kids' desire to find out how much time they have left remaining in the session*

Frisk: Oh, my gosh, yes, please! Please, Uncle Gaster! It's killing us not knowing!

MK: Y-yeah! What... what she said!

Gaster: Hehehehe. Alright, I will tell you... if and only if the four of you give me your word that you will hold out until the very end... no matter what I intend to do up until that point and no matter how long it will take to reach that point... *stated Gaster, prompting each of the kids to have second thoughts about finding out how much time they have left remaining; at least initially*

Chara and Frisk: O-ok...

Asriel and MK: H-heh...

Gaster: Hehehehe. So, do you get what I'm saying, little ones? If I tell you how much longer I'm going to be tickling you, there won't be any turning back... So, with that in mind, do you still wish for me to tell you how much time you have remaining? Not including all of the breaks in between?

The kids had a difficult decision to make. If they were to find out how much time they have remaining in the session, they would then lose their option to opt out if they literally couldn't stand one more microsecond of Gaster's outlandish tickles. Not that any of them were planning to opt out at this point in the session, especially after learning of Gaster's telepathy ability, but because they had literally no idea how much longer Gaster was intending to tickle them or what else he was intending to tickle them with during the remainder of the session (more tickle beams, most likely), they felt that getting rid of their option to opt out would be a decision that they would come to regret... Decisions, decisions... But in the end, they all chose to find out how much time they had remaining. A unanimous decision, and that was simply because none of the kids could imagine the idea of Gaster tickling them for more than an hour! At this point, each of them had been tickled for 47 minutes so what was another 13 minutes? They could handle that, right? Right?!

Gaster: Hehehehe. So, it's decided then. Hehehehe. Alright, little ones, from this point forward, you'll no longer have the option to opt out... BUT, guess what. You will each receive less than 20 more minutes of tickles! Hehehehe. What? You didn't think I would tell you the exact number of minutes, did you?

Actually, yes! Taking into account all of the craziness that Gaster had put them through up until this point, the kids actually did think that Gaster himself would tell them the exact number of minutes they had left to endure more and more of his outlandish tickles. But instead, they were given an idea of how many more minutes of tickles they had left to endure. And each of the kids were more than thankful for that! "Less than 20 minutes? Bring it on, Uncle Gaster! Even if it's more tickle beams!" they all thought to themselves after hearing the news they longed to hear! Hehe. Oh, the kids were just so pleased to hear that they were close to guessing the exact number of minutes that they would be tickled for during the remainder of the session. Since they all theorized that Gaster wouldn't tickle them for more than one hour, they predicted that he would tickle them for 13 more minutes. And there's a chance that they could still be correct about that. Gaster did say less than 20 minutes after all. And if by some chance he ends up tickling them for more than 13 minutes, it won't be for too much longer than 13 minutes.
