hello to anyone who still has this story in their libraries lol.

I started this story almost 8 years ago, and cannot believe how much my life has changed. For reference, I was 15, and I am now 23, so yeah, big changes! Writing on this app got me through so much in high school and I met so many wonderful people through this fandom. I still listen to twenty one pilots, but I've moved away from being a hard-core stan and fanfiction writing for the most part. It seems I used a lot of romance fiction to fill the void of affection in my life, and as I celebrated my one year anniversary with my wonderful boyfriend, I find myself straying further and further from fanfiction, even in the fandoms I consider myself apart of now (The Witcher, primarily, is the only thing I read fanfiction of now, and occasionally think of prompts and such. Not that you asked lol).

All this is to say, I'm not going to lie and say "Oh I'll definitely finish this story for you all!" however, something an author did for a story I read way back was to give an end-of-story summary, which I really liked the idea of. This story had a minimally fleshed-out ending, so I'll do my best to scavenge through my head to give an alright summary of my plans. I also have some random scraps of writing I had done which will be included here when I get to that part of the summary.

Alllllrighty, where did we leave off? Tyler realizing he's getting in too deep and yelling at Mark in the bathroom. Honestly, I don't know what exactly I had planned next other than Josh asking Tyler on a date. This is what I had for that. All of the scrapped together writing is all lowercase because I wrote like that back when I wrote this. I'm too lazy to edit it sorry lol.

josh was clutching the bouquet so tightly that ashley had to stop him from crushing the flowers.

"dude, chill out."

"chill out? chill out!? how am i supposed to chill out when i'm to ask a fucking angel on a date?!" josh hissed. ashley rolled her eyes.

"take a step back, lover boy. weren't you the one complaining all yesterday about how much you hate his guts?"

josh groaned. "yeah, i fuckin' hate that he makes me feel like this again," he muttered, gesturing to himself. "i hate his perfect face and his perfect body and his perfect, cute, little as— shit! he's here," he whispered, suddenly becoming very interested in the locker in front of him.

ashley rolled her eyes again as she watched tyler at his locker as he began to unlock it. he pushed up his glasses and rummaged around a bit before switching a couple books inside with one's in his backpack.

he didn't look particularly special. sure, he was kinda cute, for a guy, ashley thought. but he certainly wasn't the angel josh cracked him up to be.

"josh, i just don't understand why you won't ask him out. you're hot as hell, and i'm sure a lot of the guys in the grade think so too. they're just scared of you."

"yeah, well, he isn't, ash. he knows, i can see it on his smug, perfect face that he knows i can't do shit to him. he makes me feel so... weak. god, i hate it."

ashley looked at her friend. she didn't think she had ever seen him so... not full of himself in years. her eyes widen.

his knees were literally quaking.

"dude, you have it bad."

josh groaned again, banging his head against the locker slightly. "i know! it's so embarrassing. i feel like some lovesick teenager."
