THE INTERVIEWER from vogue smiles at the cast, "alright, let's get settled and we'll start the questions."

everyone takes a seat within the set of poguelandia. madelyn, madison, rudy and chase sit down on the sofa. carlacia and jd share a loveseat while drew, madelaine and austin are seated on stools behind the couches.

it was press day on set. vogue had arranged an interview and photoshoot to promote the new season of outerbanks. madelaine and her friends were excited for it, because that meant they could take a break from their six a.m. call times and instead, just hang out with each other and answer some questions.

"okay, first up, how is everyone feeling about season four so far?" the interviewer smiles.

"personally, i'm super excited." jd answers first.

"me too," chase nods. "the stakes are even higher this season."

"i think fans are gonna love it." madelyn smiles.

"nice! and we have another character in the spotlight this season, sofia!" the interviewer points to madelaine, prompting her to wave to the camera.

"yeah, i'm madelaine petsch, i play rafe's love interest." she nods as the others look to her and smile.

"what can we expect from sofia this season?" the interviewer asks.

"of course sofia was in a couple episodes last season, but in season four, i think there's a different dynamic with her and rafe. she's trying to find how she fits into the world and he's trying to make a name for himself in the family business so they become a really good team." madelaine smiles, looking over to drew.

"well let me just say, fans are already loving the two of them together. from the photos on the outerbanks instagram, it seems that the chemistry you guys have is just remarkable! did that come naturally for you guys?" the interviewer asks.

rudy stifles a laugh with his hand as jd presses his lips together in order not to make a sound, making laci roll her eyes at the two boys. madison crosses her arms and clears her throat. drew bites his lip while madelaine laughs awkardly. "um, yeah, it did come pretty naturally. you know it's always nerve wracking coming onto a new set, but these guys have been so welcoming that i felt comfortable and right at home straight away." she smiles.

"aw, we love you, mads!" madelyn smiles, turning around and patting her on the leg.

"that's great!" the interviewer says. "next up, i have a fun question— if you were stuck on a deserted island like the pogues in season three, what would be the your go to item? something you couldn't live without?"

"oh, i'm gonna say a karaoke machine!" rudy pipes up.

"what?" madison laughs. "really?" austin chuckles.

"gotta have entertainment." rudy shrugs, defending his answer.

"well, i'd choose something actually useful, like a fishing kit." laci says.

"ooh that's a good one." jd looks at her and nods.

"um, food." drew answers, matter of factly.

"nah, bro, you'd bring cami." chase smirks, making the others laugh.

"hey, hey! cut that shit out." drew blushes as he points to the camera.

the interviewer laughs and looks at the card for the last question. "what's one word you would use to describe season four? what can the viewers be looking forward to?"
