Pretending Not To Remember: A Second Chance ✔️

Chapter Eight

When the other begin to climb down Wei Ying walk away from there. "Wangji, are you alright?" Lan Xichen asked his didi. "Mn."

Jiang Cheng look here and there around for Wei Ying, "Where is Wei Wuxian?" The other around them look as well. 'Wei Ying will never walk off by himself,' "he must gone deeper into the cave," soon everyone went to where Wei Ying is at.

When they got there they all see Wei Ying driving into the lake, "Wei Ying!"

*Tsk* "he doing the same thing Zewu Jun, what should we do?" Jiang Cheng whispered to only Lan Xichen and Lan Zhan to hear. "Let's keep this quiet. Don't let Wen Chao know," the two gave a nod.

'I must get the sword before this stupid Yao attack the other.' Once Wei Ying is inside he went to search for the sword. 'I know is somewhere in here,' Wei Ying take out his sword first, 'It is better to use two sword rather then one sword.'

Wei Ying keep on walking and walking and walking until he see it in front of him. 'Now or never Wei Wuxian,' he pick up the sword in his hand.

Wei Ying see the light coming from his right, "oh right on time," he stand with his sword in one hand and the other one in his left hand.

'This will be different than in the future,' "This time I will kill you for sure."

Outside

Wen Chao come and pointed around the place. He ask one of his disciple or other disciple from other clan to find a live bait. The women Wang Lingjiao pointed at a girl name Mian Mian (I forgot what her real name is). Mian Mian went to run behind Lan Zhan and Jin Zixuan.

Before anyone can move from where they are at, they all turn to see the monster is moving in the lake. They can see how aggressive the monster movement is.

Inside

Wei Ying is dodging the Yao mouth from touching him. He send his sword towards the Yao trying to get its head out of its shell. He even send talisman as well, each talisman is either fire or even electricity.

This got the turtle to pull its head out. 'I haven't thought of how I will get out of here without Wen Chao seeing me.'

Outside

When Chao tell everyone to kill the Yao, they all try as best as they can. They all end up either getting kill or getting throw to the side by this Yao.

In the end Wen Chao left from there with his disciple. "Damn! Hey Wei Wuxian!" Shouted Jiang Cheng. 'Better not die in there!' "Zewu  Jun why don't we go hide first? If we keep on fighting this Yao will kill us all!" Shouted Jiang Cheng.

"Xiong Zhang?" Lan Xichen nodded his head, "Everyone go deeper into the cave!" They all follow Lan Xichen direction. When they are all in a safe place Jin Zixuan asked, "Zewu Jun, since we have our sword why can't we leave from here?"

"We can but we can't. If we leave from here, then Wen Chao will ambush us. We need to wait here for a while. Why don't we go see how our disciples d other disciples are doing?" With that Lan Zhan, Lan Xichen, Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixuan went to see how everyone are doing.

Inside of the Yao

While the Yao was fighting everyone outside, Wei Ying was busy putting  explosives talisman throughout the inside of the Yao. 'Alright, I need to go out the same way that I came in. If the Yao head went back inside then that mean Wen Chao is gone and everyone is still out there,' so he went out the same way that he has come in.

Wei Ying move slowly inside of the Yao while putting away his sword and breaking the Yin Iron sword into many pieces. He put it in his Qianku pouch, this way it is easier for him to hide it.

He slowly swim out from inside of the Yao to go back to where everyone is at. The people inside of the cave hear the sound of water splashing or something or someone is swimming out from inside of the water.

They all got out to see who or what is making this sound. Lan Zhan eye went wide to see who it is. He ran out of there toward that person.

Wei Ying who just got out of the water, a blur of white clothes flung themselves onto him. He caught that person before the two of they fall backward back into the water. Wei Ying let out a sigh of relief, "Lan Zhan, that was dangerous."

He felt Lan Zhan tighten his arm around his shoulder, 'I don't care if he is Wei Ying of this timeline or Wei Ying of the future. I'm just glad he is safe.'

"Wei Wuxian! What were you thinking going inside of that Yao?!" Shouted a very angry Jiang Cheng. Wei Ying pull Lan Zhan back, "you all should stand back," the group looked at each other then back to Wei Ying, "I mean it. Stand back."

He look at Lan Zhan, "Lan Zhan, you too," he gently push Lan Zhan away from him. Wei Ying turn around with a smile on his face, 'that was unexpected,' with a snap of his finger the talisman inside of the Yao begin to go off one by one.

The Yao exploded into million and millions of pieces. Lan Zhan have this flash back at the same time when him and Wei Ying also kill the Yao this way as well. Everyone let out a sigh of relief knowing that the Yao is gone.

They all take a seat on ground waiting for the right time to leave from there. They all know that if they leave right now, then Wen Chao will kill them all. Lan Zhan who is sitting with his brother glanced at Wei Ying who is standing at the other end by himself.

He think back to what he did just a minute ago, 'Why did I suddenly do something like that?' While still glancing at Wei Ying and still inside of his own mind, he doesn't know that Wei Ying is looking back at him.

Lan Zhan soon felt eyes on him, he snap out of his own thought to see Wei Ying is looking at him. He turn away from Wei Ying stare, "Wangji, are you okay?" Lan Zhan just gave a nod since he doesn't trust his voice right now.

On the fourth days everyone what back to where they have climb down from. Lan Xichen turn to look at the heir and disciple, "once we get back up there, don't rush toward the entrance. We need to see what happen first, I just hope that Wen Chao didn't do anything to the opening that we come in from."

They all take out their sword, step on it and flew back up one at a time. "Huaisang?" Nie Huaisang step on the back of Lan Xichen sword, "Hold on tight okay?" Nie Huaisang gave a nod as he wrapped his arm around Lan Xichen waist to keep himself from falling off of Lan Xichen sword.

The last person who is still there is Wei Ying, 'Last time I flew on suibian is when I went to Caiyi town to take the Aqua demon back up to the Wen clan. Flying low to the water doesn't scare me but flying from down here and back up to there...I'm afraid...I'm afraid Lan Zhan.'
