Chapter Ten

Wei Ying soon arrive at the bottom of the burial mound, 'this one won't stop me, I am not afraid of you anymore,' he begin to whistle this way he can break down the protection barrier.

He whistle and whistle and whistle and whistle, he can see the protection array begin to shake and shake and shake and shake and then it broke into piece just like how glass would break.

The resentment energy came out from there, "I'm not afraid of you," after saying that Wei Ying walk into the burial mound to get the second Yin iron sword. He walk through the resentment energy without a care in the world. "No matter how hard you try to make me feel down, I won't let you. Now....GET LOST ALL OF YOU!" Wei Ying eye glow crimson red.

All of the dark energy move aside, it make way for Wei Ying to walk. When he see the sword he went to grab it. Wei Ying walk into the cave that he once call home, 'it won't take long to forge this Yin Hufu. I have done it once, I can do it again.'

Jiang Clan

"What do you mean he not here?" Asked Lan Zhan. "I mean he not here then he not here. I...he went there....the only place he went to is..." Lan Zhan got on his sword and left from there.

'Wei Ying! Wei Ying! Don't do it, you know that you don't have to walk this path again!' Lan Zhan sword speed up hoping to stop Wei Ying in time before he do the same thing. When Lan Zhan arrive at the burial mound he see the whole place has been taken over by resentment energy.

"Wei Ying?" He try to walk into the burial mound only to get push back by the dark energy. So he did one thing, he breath in and then, "WEI YING!"

While forging his Yin Hufu from within the cave, Wei Ying hear, "WEI YING!"

'Lan Zhan? What is he doing here? I can't deal with him right now. I am almost finish with this yin Hufu,' he went back to focus on forging the Yin Hufu.

Instead of heading back to the Jiang clan or the Lan clan, Lan Zhan decided to wait outside of the burial mound.

Two days later

When Wei Ying is done forging his yin Hufu, he left his cave to go see if Lan Zhan is still out there or not. 'Just as I expected,' He see Lan Zhan is sitting on the ground either sleep sitting up or meditating.

He walk over to where Lan Zhan is at, bring him into his arm, and take Bichen into his hand. He carried a sleeping Lan Zhan back into the big room and lay him down on the ground gently.

After that he went to gather some tree branch to make a bonfires. When he got a lot of tree branch in his arm, he went back inside of the room. 'I'm glad that I still have some of my talisman with me,' he take out a talisman with a fire symbol on it. He threw it onto the tree branch and it lite up.

He went back over to Lan Zhan and pull him into his arm. Wei Ying move a string of hair out of Lan Zhan face, 'Lan Zhan, how can I tell you that I am the Wei Ying from the future? When I do tell you, how will you react?'

Wei Ying felt Lan Zhan move closer into his arm, "Wei Ying," Wei Ying couldn't help but have on a smile, 'Even when your sleeping, you call out for me.'

That night Wei Ying stay awake looking down at a sleeping Lan Zhan in his arm. "Wei Ying...no...come back...no....come back...Wei Ying!" Lan Zhan wake up, he felt a warm arm wrapping around him. 

"Nightmare Lan er gongzi?" Lan Zhan back away from Wei Ying, "I'm sorry," he scoot a little bit farther away from Wei Ying. "Am I really that scary to make you move away from me?" Wei Ying asked Lan Zhan.

"No, that's not it....that's not it," Wei Ying got up, and walk over to where Lan Zhan is at, he kneel down and take Lan Zhan chin in his hand, "if not that, then what is it?" Lan Zhan felt his heart beating very fast to hear how husky and deep Wei Ying voice is.

"My Wei Ying will never act like this, even if he has change, he won't act like this," Lan Zhan move his head away from Wei Ying hand. 'My Wei Ying?' Wei Ying got up and walk over to where he was at, 'Since when did I become yours Lan Zhan?' "Tell me, since when did Wei Wuxian become yours?"

'Of course this Wei Wuxian doesn't know,' "why do you want to know?" Lan Zhan asked as he stare into the fire in front of him. "You said "My Wei Ying" then does that mean you two are together or have you already gotten married?" 'What will you said Lan Zhan?'

"Wei Ying doesn't know it but when we were in the cold cave, he ask me to give him my forehead ribbon. I don't know if he know the meaning behind it." Lan Zhan touched his ribbon with his hand.

"Then what is the meaning behind it?" 'I been wondering about that for a while now.' Wei Ying look at the ribbon in Lan Zhan hand.

"The Lan forehead ribbon mean only family can touch it, also, only my cultivation partner can touch it so when I tied my ribbon around Wei Ying wrist in the cold cave, I already made Wei Ying my cultivation partners."

Wei Ying covered his eye with his hand, 'Wei Wuxian Wei Wuxian what have you done? Lan Zhan is your responsibility now,' "then why didn't you tell Wei Wuxian this?"

"I don't want to put pressure on him. At that time, Wei Ying didn't understand my feeling for him, that is why I didn't said anything. I just want to be there for Wei Ying, I want to protect him from everything around him. Now I regret it."

"Regret it?" 'What are you regretting about?' Wei Ying see a sad expression on Lan Zhan face.

"Regret not telling Wei Ying about my feeling, if I did, then I can save him, then I can protect him."

'Lan Zhan,' "did you said anything else to Wei Wuxian?" Lan Zhan gave a nod. "What did you said?" He asked.

"I ask Wei Ying to come back to Gusu with me."

"Let me guess Wei Wuxian said something along this line, "Gusu? That place have three thousand rule. I rather stay in Yunmeng" right?" Wei Ying can see a shocking expression on Lan Zhan face.

"Did you explain to Wei Wuxian why you want him go back to Gusu with you?" 'I want to know why you want me to go back to Gusu with you, Lan Zhan?' Wei Ying thought to himself.

"No I didn't." Answered Lan Zhan. "Then why?" Asked Wei Ying.

"I want to take Wei Ying back to protect him, to save him, to keep other people away from him. Everyone will go up against Wei Ying for walking the dark path, I don't want anything to happen to him."

'Why didn't you tell me the truth Lan Zhan?' Wei Ying somehow felt very angry right now, angry that Lan Zhan didn't tell him the truth. "Get some sleep Lan Wangji," with that saying Wei Ying left from there with so many thing going through his mind.
