Chapter Nineteen

That night while in his room Nie Huaisang felt someone is outside of his room, so he got up to go open the door and when he did, he see his spy with an unconscious Jin Guangshan laying in the ground next to him.

"Did anyone see you?" Nie Huaisang asked his spy, "No one saw us, gongzi," Nie Huaisang breath in then out, "that's good, take him to the dungeon." With that his spy take the unconscious Jin Guangshan to the dungeon.

"Now, all I need to do is let Xichen ge know that I have Jin Guangshan in the dungeon," he turn to walk back into his room with one thing going through his mind, 'Since we have Jin Guangshan in our dungeon, I wonder what will happen at the Jin clan? They will know that's Jin Guangshan is gone from his room. This will cause them to goin search for him.'

Lan Clan - Jingshi

In the Lan clan, Lan Zhan is waiting for Wei Ying to come back. The more he wait, the more sleepy he is gets. 'He not coming back,' without anymore waiting for Wei Ying to come back, Lan Zhan decided to head to bed.

When Lan Xichen walk around the Lan clan at night, he still see Wei Ying inside of the library reading the book. "Wei gongzi?" Wei Ying look up from the book, "Oh Zewu Jun? Why are you still up?" Wei Ying asked Lan Xichen who walk into the library and seat down on the other side of the room.

"I just got back from talking to Huaisang and Mingjue Xiong. By the way, the Jin clan sent out an invitation about a night hunt on Phoenix mountain. Do you want to come along, Wuxian?" Wei Ying eye lit up to hear what Lan Xichen just call him, "Is alright Zewu Jun. I rather stay away from there since I don't want to hear Madam Yu yipping at me."

"Is your life there bad?" Lan Xichen asked. "Mn, you can said that.But here, I feel very peaceful even if Master Lan still give me the annoying expression on his face." Lan Xichen couldn't help but smile at what Wei Ying just said.

"How long will you be staying here?" Lan Xichen asked Wei Ying.

Wei Ying put his forehead on the table, "I don't know. Your didi only want one person and that is the Wei Wuxian from the future. I am not him," 'I am him, if I told Zewu Jun that I am him, then he will be very angry at me for not letting his didi know about it.'

"Then how about I take you to a guest room instead?" Wei Ying just nodded his head. The two soon left the library so that Lan Xichen can take Wei Ying to one of the guest room in the Lan clan.

The next day Wei Ying watch as Lan Xichen, Lan Zhan and Qingheng Jun left the Lan clan to attend the night hunt on Phoenix mountain. Wei Ying let out a sigh, 'this time is different than in the future.'

He walk away from there with one thing going through his mind, 'if Nie Xiong captures Jin Guangshan, what will the Jin clan do? Will they continue with the night hunt or will they cancel it?' Wei Ying end up at Lan Zhan home.

He walk into Lan Zhan home and into his bedroom. Wei Ying went to lay down on Lan Zhan bed, 'Sandalwood, Lan Zhan favorite scent.' "Come back soon Lan Zhan. I want to be with you as much as I can before you kick me out of your clan." He fell asleep on Lan Zhan bed just thinking about how much he miss his soulmate.

Phoenix Mountain

No one realizes that Jin Guangshan is gone from his room. All they know is that he is either sleeping or went to those place where all of the man goes to have fun. Even madam Jin doesn't care if he is there or not, she just want a day without him around.

The Nie, Lan, Jin and Jiang clan walk toward the mountain, Nie Huaisang went to where Lan Xichen is at, and he pull him to the side. "Xichen ge," Nie Huaisang went close to his ear, "I got Jin Guangshan, what should we do with him?" He asked Lan Xichen.

"Keep him there until the right time come," Nie Huaisang nodded his head.

During this night hunt, Jiang Cheng did what Wei Ying, he hit all three target at once. Lan Zhan is shock and surprise to see Jiang Cheng did the same as Wei Ying. 'Jiang Cheng did see what's Wei Ying did in the future after all.'

Just thinking about Wei Ying make Lan Zhan remember what happen two night ago. 'I wonder why Wei Ying doesn't want to come along with us,' "Xiong Zhang?" Lan Zhan turn to his right to look at his brother.

"What is it?" Lan Xichen asked.

"How come Wei Ying didn't come along with us?" He asked his brother. "Wei gongzi said that he doesn't want to hear Madam Yu yapping at him. He decided to stay back at Cloud Recesses instead."

"Oh," 'if I has known then I also want to stay home too. Why didn't you let me know.....what am I saying he not my Wei Wuxian.'

Just like in the future the Jiang clan get to go first. This time it will be very different since Wei Ying isn't there to help out the Jiang clan.

Lan Zhan walk off by himself, 'Since Wei Ying isn't here, the Jiang clan won't win this time around,' as he walk around the mountain, Lan Zhan come to a familiar tree.

Flashback (this is from chapter 185)

Wei Ying who just finish playing a song, he put away his flute and closed his eye to take a nap with a blind fold still around his eye. Suddenly, he opened his eye when he hear someone approaching below him.

'Someone is approaching?! But this person has no intention in killing.' "Are you here to participate in the hunting?" Wei Ying asked this person below him.

"You can't hunt anything if you're near my surroundings," Wei Ying then head this person walking really fast toward him, 'this person's coming! Other cultivators are somehow afraid of me, and unable to come close.' He seat, 'I want to see what you plan to do.'

This person push Wei Ying back against the tree trunk, 'Who is this?' When Wei Ying is about to take off he blind off this person's grabbed both of his hand and lock it above his head.

No matter how hard Wei Ying struggled, he couldn't get himself loose. That is when Wei Ying felt this person warm lips on his.

End flashback

Lan Zhan jump on that same tree branch, he put his back to the tree branch and closed his eye. Lan Zhan put his hand on his lips, 'it felt the same thing when Wei Ying kissed me in the library.' He moved his hand from his lips and look up into the sky, "Wei Ying."

After the hunt is over Lan Xichen went to go talk to Nie Huaisang. He take the two of them to a quiet place to talk. When the two of them are there, he put up a lock spell and a silent spell around the room.

"Huaisang can you head home to take Jin Guangshan to Cloud Recesses? Make sure no one see you or see Jin Guangshan going with you. Also, make sure he is not awake either," Nie Huaisang nodded his head.

"But what about da ge?" Lan Xichen breath in then out, "Don't worry, I will let Mingjue Xiong know," Nie Huaisang nodded his head, so the two went their separate way to do what they need to do.
