Chapter Twenty Six

Wei Ying look around the place from the doorway, a small smile appear on his face. He look at how happy Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing is, 'As long as Wen Qing is happy and safe with the Jiang clan, I don't have to worry about it anymore.'

He left the banquet quietly without anyone seeing him leave. When he walk out of the Jiang clan a voice said, "Wei Ying."

Wei Ying didn't turn around to look at Lan Zhan, he just keep on walking away from there without stopping until, "Wei Ying! I just want to talk to you!"

He turn around to glared at Lan Zhan with his crimson red eye, "don't you dare call me "Wei Ying" you don't deserve to call me that." Lan Zhan took a step back away from Wei Ying.

"What do you want, Lan Wangji?" Wei Ying asked in a very annoying tone in his voice.

"I'm sorry," was all Lan Zhan said. This make Wei Ying laugh, "I'm sorry?" "I'm sorry" is that all you can said? Didn't you said that you hate me? Didn't you?"

"I...I..." Lan Zhan know that whatever he said Wei Ying won't forgive him. "Can't said anything, can you?" Lan Zhan shake his head no.

"Then let me said it for you. You never gave me a chance to explain to you why I pretend not to be the Wei Wuxian from the future. You just went ahead and said that you hate me for it, hate me for not telling you!" Lan Zhan tighten his hand into a fist.

"You were never good at what you want to said. You didn't even know why I don't want to tell you the truth. Then all of suddenly, when you found out that I lie to you. You end up saying that you hate me. Now Lan er gongzi do you have anything else you want to said?" Wei Ying asked.

Lam Zhan shake his head no, "If there is nothing else then I will go now," a white portal open up in front of them, "One last thing, Lan Wangji. You will never find me," with that last saying, he walk through the portal.

When Wei Ying appear on the other side, he let his tear fall freely. He grab onto his chest where his hurting heart is at. 'I will never ask you for forgiveness Lan Wangji, you're the one who said that you hated me first.'

He breath in then out, he look up at the night sky above him, 'No matter what, you won't find me. Time away from each other is the best for now.'

During those year apart, Wei Ying is a training under his grandmother. "Granny granny!" 'Why did my hair turn white?' Wei Ying see his grandmother up ahead with his Shishu.

"Shishu! Granny!" The two turn to their left to see Wei Ying running toward them, "A-Ying! What happen to your hair?!" Xiao Xingchen meet his nephew half way, "I don't know! I woke up like this!"

"A-Ying, calm down," Baoshan Sanren walk over to her student and grandson is at. "You're immortal now, A-Ying. Your hair turn white when one person become immortal."

"Immortal? Does that mean I live longer than everyone else?" Wei Ying asked.

"A-Ying, not only your hair change but your eye color too?" Hearing this Wei Ying went over to the water fountain is at, he look into the water to see his eye indeed has become red.

"Ah that right, A-Ying, I heard that Jiang Wanyin wife is pregnant," this got Wei Ying to smile, "Really?! Wen Qing is pregnant?!" Xiao Xingchen nodded his head.

"A-Ying, if you want your hair to turn back to their original color just focus on changing it back," Wei Ying did just that.

He focus on changing his hair back to their original color. Xiao Xingchen and Baoshan Sanren smile at how Wei Ying hair is back to black color now. "A-Ying, open your eye," when he did, the two see that Wei Ying eye is still red.

"Your eye is still red A-Ying," Wei Ying breath in then out, "is okay, I like it." 'If I go see Wen Qing and Jiang Cheng, I should give them something.' "Granny, is there a town nearby, I want to get a gift for Wen Qing and Jiang Wanyin." Wei Ying look down at the water, 'I don't mind crimson red eye.'

"Yes there is, Xingchen know about it. Xingchen, why don't you take Song Lan and A-Ying with you?" Xiao Xingchen nodded his head, "shall we go?" The two follow behind Xiao Xingchen into two to buy a gift for Wen Qing and Jiang Cheng unborn child.

A day later

Wei Ying look up at the Jiang Clan sign, 'it has been a year since I came back here. Nothing change,' "da Shixiong?" Wei Ying took off his hood, "it been a while everyone?" They see how red Wei Ying eye is, "Shixiong, your eye?" Wei Ying have on a smile, "yeah, do you know where Jiang Cheng and Wen Qing is at?" He asked his Shidi.

The Jiang disciple take Wei Ying into the main room, "Shixiong, Qing Shijie, Da Shixiong is here?" Everyone turn to see Wei Ying standing by the door way.

Lan Zhan who is inside of the room, he doesn't dare to look at Wei Ying. As for Wei Ying, he didn't even bother to look at Lan Zhan. He just ignore him since there is nothing going on between the two of them anymore.

"Wen Qing, Jiang Wanyin, here is my gift for your unborn. This will protect your child on the future," he handed over to Jiang Cheng.

"A-Xian, thank you," Wei Ying gave a nod.

Just like before Wei Ying stay for a little bit before leaving from there. Before he left from there, Wei Ying turn around to look at a certain someone, 'take care Lan Zhan,' with that last thought he step through the portal and vanished from there.

When Wei Ying step through portal, he come face to face his Shishu and Grandmother, 'At least this is where I belong now. I won't leave the mountain for a while. I don't know where or how long, this is where my life is at.'

Lan clan

"Wangji, you need to give up on Wei Wuxian. He won't come back, you don't even know where he is at," Lan Zhan fisted his hand.

"Give me one more chance Xiong Zhang, please?" Lan Zhan looked at his brother, "fine just this once, if you don't find him, you will stop leaving the clan to go look for him okay?" Lan Zhan nodded his head.

Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, Lan Zhan couldn't find Wei Ying anywhere. From town to town, he couldn't find Wei Ying in any town at all.

He decided to give up, he decided that he won't go in search for Wei Wuxian anymore . 'Wherever you are Wei Ying. I wish you happiness...I wish you....I wish you let me find you someday. I love you Wei Ying,' with that Lan Zhan head back to his home, back to the life without Wei Ying by his side.

The two end up living in a separate realm

Will they see each other again...Will Wei Ying give Lan Zhan a second chance.....
