Staring up at the fire, the tears streaming down her face as Violet spots John B coming out of the tower. He was surrendering "John B!" Violet screams, shaking her head. It couldn't end like this

"Hands where we can see 'em!" Shoupe yells at John B as every officers guns get pulled up

A huge crowd gathers around the bell tower as some chants start to be yelled "Shoot him!"

Violet tries to step closer "don't shoot him!" She cries before Shoupe shouts at her to stay back.

Rafe steps over and carefully pulls Violet away from the officers, not wanting her to get hurt

"Routledge, get down!" Shoupe screams growing closer as each cop closes in on John B.

Violet songs as she looks up at rafe "Please tell me you didn't do this.." she begs that it wasn't Rafe that turned him in.

"Don't shoot, all right?" The teenager that everyone thought to be John B finally speaks up

Shoupe shakes his head "Hands up! Show me your hands!" He yells as he walks over to pull down the hood of the teen.

"It's Topper." Toppers hands shakes as Shoupe pulls his hood down "it's topper!" He repeats

Violet stares in disbelief.. why was topper wearing John Bs clothes. She looks to Rafe who looks equally as confused before looking back over at the scene

"Topper?" Shoupe asks confused as he lowered his gun

"It's Topper. All right?" Topper was frightened "Just put the guns down, man. Just put the guns down." He begs as each officer dearms, lowering their guns.

Letting out a small laugh in relief, a smile formed on violets face. John B got away. He did it. Taking a deep breath she wipes her tears, the chase was back on.. she had to make it to the dock in time.

Rafe carefully turns violet around, noticing the smile on her face "Violet." He spoke softly "where is he?"

Violet shrugs "I don't know." She looks up at rafe "and even if I did I wouldn't tell you."

"Violet the cops are looking for him." Rafe didn't want Violet to get arrested for helping John B

"Falsely looking." She scoffs "they should be looking for your dad." She nudges his shoulder

Rafe tries to take her hands in his "Violet I know you're mad-"

"Mad?" She scoffs "understatement of the year Cameron."

"If you know where he is you need to give him up." Rafe sighs "You could be arrested vi"

"I don't have to do shit." She nudges rafe off of her "get off me." She shakes her head as an officer approaches the pair

"Associate of John B right?" He asks Violet to which she keeps silent, refusing to speak to the cops.

Rafe shakes his head "no." He speaks up "no she's with me. She's an associate of the Cameron's sir."

The cop shakes his head "no. No." He points at Violet "I've seen you with him. You know where he is." The cop reaches for his gun

Rafe steps in front of Violet "what are you doing?" He states annoyed, reaching back he holds violets hand.

"Mr Cameron, please move out of the way." The officer asks respectfully, his hand still on his gun.
