~ Start Of Day 25 ~ December 2 ~

I woke up around 10:00AM. I walked out of my room, talked to Alice for a bit and started walking around town. As I was walking around town, I heard something...it sounded like someone was crying...I followed the sound of the crying and eventually it led me to the cherry tree where I saw Amber and Rosabel...Rosabel was covered in cuts and was crying while being bandaged by Amber.

Claire: Rosabel...?

Rosabel: G-Go away...!

Amber: Rosabel...it's just Claire...they won't hurt you...!

Rosabel: ...alright...

Claire: What happened...?

Amber: What do you think...our mom happened...

Claire: Why does she hate you guys so much...?

Amber: Who knows...it's not like she'll tell us...

Claire: Oh...

I decided to leave those two alone for a bit and walked away and towards the park where I saw Avery, Lia, Haley and Rori. Lia was looking at Rori and Avery, holding some kind of weird remotes. She clicked a blue button on each of the two remotes and the things around both their necks came falling off. Lia sighs.

Lia: If only me and Haley could get these things off of us to...

Avery: We'll find a way to get them off you at some point...!

Rori: ...

Haley: I'm fine with keeping mine on, it's not like it was ever used anyway.

Lia: That's only a you thing...

Haley: Whatever. Hey Avery~ wanna go somewhere else...? Away from these two?

Avery: No...but do I have a choice...?

Haley: Do you ever have a choice when it comes to me?

Avery: No...

Haley: Exactly. Let's go. Now.

I watch as Haley walks away and Avery shakily follows. Haley took one of the things that was around their necks originally and a remote thing with them.

Claire: Hey guys!

Lia: Hi...

Rori: ...

Rori hides behind Lia.

Claire: What are you guys doing?

Lia: Getting these stupid things off of us...well...trying to...

Claire: Can't you just-

I walk around Lia and try to unhook the thing around her neck from the back.

Lia: Wai! Don't-!

As soon as I touched the thing it started making a clicking sound and Lia started shaking, tears forming in her eyes.

Lia: M-Make it stop!...It h-hurts...!

Claire: Huh...?

Rori looks worried. A few minutes pass and the clicking sound stops and Lia sighs.

Lia: F-Finally...It's over...! Never do th-that again...

Claire: I'm so sorry...!

Lia: It's ok...I'm fine...

Claire: Where did Haley and Avery go...?

Lia: Who knows...

A few more minutes pass and Avery and Haley come back over to us. Avery has the thing back around her neck and Haley is holding the remote that I can only assume is for it. Avery is shaking and looks like she was just crying.

Lia: Haley. Take it off her. Now.

Haley: You're no fun.

Haley clicks the blue button on the remote and the thing comes off of Avery. Avery sighs in relief and hugs Lia. Lia is glaring at Haley.

Claire: What are those things anyway...?

Haley: Just modified shock collars that were made so only the person with the remote can take them off and shocks us for a while when we try to normally take them off. We just only have two of the remotes.

I go quiet for a bit.

Claire: What...?

Avery: Mhm...!

Claire: Why do you even have those to begin with...?

Rori writes on a notebook page for a second and shows it to me. It says "Mean people put them on us." I looked at her confused.

Claire: Mean people...?

Lia: Scientists...Doctors...Whatever you want to call them...

Claire: Oh...

Lia: Yeah...

I decided to go home. I walked into my apartment and went into my room. I grabbed the purple box and started thinking...

Claire: I think I'll give this to her tomorrow...! Yeah...That could work...!

I smile, put the box down and go to sleep.
