The next week, Nani meticulously planned the evening he would reveal his pregnancy to Sky. He wanted it to be perfect—a moment that Sky would cherish forever. After work, Nani made sure to prepare a cozy dinner at home. He lit candles around the living room and set a soft, romantic atmosphere, making sure everything was just right. The air was filled with the warm scent of home-cooked food, but Nani’s heart beat faster than the flickering candle flames.

Sky arrived later than usual, his tired but smiling face lighting up when he stepped into the room. He took a deep breath, his usual playful demeanor surfacing as he called out, “Mmm, smells amazing! What’s this about?”

Nani smiled, his eyes soft as he moved toward Sky, pulling him into a warm embrace. “It’s a special night,” he whispered, heart pounding with anticipation.

Sky chuckled, letting out a sigh of contentment. “I love it when you do these little surprises. They always make my day better.”

They shared a sweet kiss, and as they sat down to eat, Nani’s nerves settled, though his heart still fluttered with excitement. As the meal went on, Nani could feel Sky’s eyes on him, a curiosity growing in his gaze. Nani took a deep breath, holding the secret tightly, waiting for the right moment.

When the dishes were cleared and they settled on the couch, Nani reached into his pocket, pulling out the small envelope. He looked at Sky, who was now leaning against him, his hand resting on Nani’s leg, a soft smile on his face.

“I have something to tell you,” Nani said, voice a little shaky, but filled with affection. Sky’s attention immediately snapped to him, sensing the gravity in Nani’s tone.

“What is it, Nani?” Sky asked, his voice tender.

Nani’s hands shook slightly as he held the envelope in his hands, looking at it for a long moment before he slowly opened it. He pulled out the ultrasound picture, holding it carefully between them. He stared at it, feeling a rush of emotions flood through him.

“Sky…” Nani whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. “I’m… pregnant.”

Sky froze, his face suddenly pale as he processed the words. Then, his eyes locked onto the image in Nani’s hands. For a moment, he was silent, and Nani felt a tightening in his chest, unsure of how Sky would react. But Sky’s eyes softened, his lips trembling as he looked up at Nani, the confusion quickly morphing into something else—something beautiful, something pure.

The silence between them stretched for what felt like forever, and then Sky’s lips parted, his voice cracking as he spoke. “You’re… You’re having our baby?” His eyes were filled with tears now, his chest heaving as he blinked rapidly, trying to process the news.

Nani nodded, his own tears starting to well up as he saw Sky’s overwhelming reaction. Sky’s hand reached out, trembling slightly as he touched Nani’s cheek. “You’re… really pregnant? With my baby?”

“Yes,” Nani whispered, his voice thick with emotion. “I wanted to surprise you. I didn’t know how to tell you. I was scared…”

Before Nani could finish, Sky’s face crumbled, and he buried his head in Nani’s chest, wailing like a child, overwhelmed with happiness. His voice was muffled, but Nani could hear the raw emotion in it. “I love you so much, Nani. I can’t believe this. I’m going to be a father… with you. This is the most beautiful thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Nani felt his own tears begin to fall as Sky’s words sunk in. He cradled Sky’s head in his hands, kissing his forehead gently, over and over. “I’m so glad you’re happy, Sky,” Nani whispered. “I wanted to give you this gift. This miracle.”

Sky looked up at him, his eyes red and swollen from crying, but his face alight with pure joy. “You’re my miracle, Nani. You and this baby. I’ll worship you forever for this. I’ll love you as no one has ever loved someone. You’ve made me the happiest man in the world. I’ll protect you, I’ll protect both of you, and I’ll love you with everything I have, forever.”

Nani smiled through his tears, his heart swelling with happiness. “You really mean that?” he whispered, his voice full of love.

Sky cupped Nani’s face in his hands, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. “With all my heart. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you, Nani. Nothing.”

As Sky held Nani close, he began showering him with kisses—on his cheeks, forehead, nose, and lips. His hands roamed gently over Nani’s body, as if memorizing the feeling of holding him, knowing that they were about to start an entirely new chapter of their lives together. Nani melted into his embrace, savoring the sweetness of the moment, feeling more cherished than he ever thought possible.

“Sky,” Nani whispered, his voice filled with tenderness. “You’re my everything. I never thought I could feel so loved.”

Sky kissed him again, and Nani felt the warmth of Sky’s affection flood his chest. “You’re my everything too,” Sky replied, his voice thick with emotion. “I will always love you, Nani. Always.”

The two of them held each other tightly, letting their hearts beat as one, knowing that their love had already surpassed anything either of them had ever experienced.

As Sky lay back on the couch, pulling Nani into his arms, the couple snuggled together, their bodies entwined. They let the silence of their shared happiness settle around them, holding each other in a peaceful embrace.

“I can’t believe we’re going to be parents,” Nani murmured, still feeling a bit awestruck by the idea. “I’m so scared, Sky. But I’m also so excited. I don’t know how to do this, but I want to do it with you. I want to do it with you more than anything in the world.”

Sky’s eyes softened as he looked down at Nani, brushing his hair back from his forehead. “We’ll do it together, Nani. I promise you. Whatever comes, we’ll do it side by side. You’re not alone in this.”

Nani’s heart swelled with love as he nestled closer to Sky, resting his head against his chest. “I’m so lucky to have you,” he whispered. “I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I’m so grateful. Thank you for loving me.”

Sky kissed his forehead gently. “No, Nani. Thank you for loving me. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I will always love you. Always.”

They both smiled, the weight of the world lifting off their shoulders as they lay in each other’s arms, knowing that they had something beautiful ahead of them. Together, they were ready to face whatever came their way—no matter how big or small—because their love was a bond stronger than anything they could ever imagine.

And in that moment, as they snuggled closer and shared sweet kisses, they both knew that this was only the beginning of their beautiful journey together.
