Judging by the size of the wound, she didn't have much time. "Hey." Ria said. I looked down at her, and into her eyes that started to tear up. "Remember that time, not so long ago, when we were laying in bed and I was scared, until I decided to lay on your chest?" I nodded, starting to shake. "Well, here I am again." She said in a joking manner. "Ria just stop, save your breath. I don't know how long it's going to take for a cleric to arrive." I said as tears filled my eyes. I turned and shouted "We need a healer over here!" She put her hand in mine. "No. No it's too late for me. Please just go and save yourself." She told me. "No!" I shouted. I picked her up in my arms and started running. She let out a small yelp when I lifted her, but it did not stop me. I ran as fast as I could away from the enemy. I felt a hard "THUMP" on my back. Then I felt pain. An arrow hit me, dead center of the back. I fell to my knees, put Ria down and reached to rip the arrow out. I pulled as hard as I could and felt it tearing at my body. "Please, I'm not going to make it much further." Ria said as I put my arms under her. "Shut the hell up!" I shouted.
