From the giant roselike structure, Hal descended to Kara, gently landing with grace on his feet. Aria made it up the stairs holding a blanket. The rose stretched and clawed into the sky. Hal slowly fell to his knees, as thorns flux through the vines bursting the seams and edges of the legs.

From a distance Sayumin shuddered in a nearby forest, goosebumps raising his skin like patch work, Erin who had been still swung over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes looked at the sight, her purple eyes twitched and flickered from the red light.

"I guess I was right." Sayumin sighed in relief. "He knows what to do."

Sayumin started to walk west but was stopped by Jeta who happened to appear in front of the two. He crossed his arms and started to tap at his elbow rather irritated.

"I waited how many years was it?" Jeta asked tilting his head as he started walking towards him. Each footstep was eerily calm as it smushed moss and fungi.

"246 years, two months and 2 days," Sayumin said clutching his staff tightly. Jeta's left eye twitched as he draws one of his blades.

"I told you every single time, to prevent him merging with them. Yet you just let it happen." Jeta said growing impatiently. "I'm no longer allowing him to die anymore. Enough of this faith in the streams. I am going to force this cycle to end for him." Jeta declared with great rage, flames of blue started to dry and crack trees in the forest around the three. Plants and fungi started to hiss and boil.

"Do you want to truly end his suffering or do you want to cut corners." Sayumin responds coldly as he drops Erin onto the moss floor. His staff lengthens as bright green bulbs start swelling from both ends of the stick. "Because it seems like you forget you have the foresight to see what I see."

"I want to stop his suffering, yet every time I leave it to these visions. They die." Jeta said glaring at Sayumin. "Regardless of how many sacrifices and names sullied, I will drown my hands in blood for that goal. Even if I have to be a demon."

"Lest you take action, you break the only way for their salvation." Erin said slowly standing up from the dirt she brushes her legs off before elbowing Sayumin's ribs.

"I can't take any more deaths." Jeta said coldly as their eyes flicker with blue sparks. "Why is it, that he has to suffer this alone!?" Jeta shouts as he lunges at Sayumin, cleanly cutting through the staff as if it was tinder, and pins Sayumin down with his foot and aiming a blade straight into Sayumin's soul. The azure blazes start to flicker stronger.

"Give me a reason not to add your skull to the monuments." Jeta growled vehemently.

"If I tell you the solutions. It risks breaking the only way, this single thread is so delicate one risk will cut it." Sayumin gasped. "I can only tell you one thing. Enjoy your time in this journey."

That remark caught Jeta's attention for deep in the man's soul flickered a vision of truth, that despite the adamance to hide the reasons and truth, a crack showed how many outcomes and visions from every single action. A cosmic answer.

Jeta sighs as he steps off of him. "You are off the hook for this one. But faith in a flawed system such as this will fall." Jeta said glaring as he walks off into the distance.

"You, despite how much blood you spilt, you refused to change." Erin remarked looking from Sayumin on the ground to Jeta who turned his back. "Still true to your nature; cold logic, blue flames, and a cruelty to filth. Yet the flames still burn warm, you try to protect the ones you care for, even if you have to be a monster. Am I correct?"

A creepy smile etched upon her face. She raises her hand to shake.

"I like that." Erin said smiling her purple hazed hues of light's pupils dilate. "A loving monster in the dark that protects it's children in the moonlight; you can never seem to enter the light due to how terrifying it is to see the true you. So, you hide it in the shade."
