The screen on the wall suddenly showed a clearer view of the arena where students would test their skills, and i could notice a thin layer of mana surrounding the entire arena.

If i looked closer, i could see multiple magicians far away using their abilities to keep the mana barrier activated.

The principal kept talking and talking but i didn't care that much, as i remembered who he was.

'Principal Kim-Rey Rabaki, the youngest genius in the world.'

He learned how to master every type of mana possible and how to preserve his body to stay young and healthy for eternity at the age of 15. At 20 years old he opened up a hero academy to teach students how to be a hero, and for the moment his academy has been extremely successful for being the safest yet efficient school ever.

'...He's also the type of principal that only pays attention to those who are struggling, rarely ever thinking about the students with good grades or great potential in the higher rates.'

'The reason for that is...well, based on what i can remember from 5 years ago, because he doesn't think that students who are struggling should give up, and that everyone has an equal chance at being an amazing role model for others no matter how bad their grades might be.'

..It's honestly a pretty good way of thinking since it means weaker students wouldn't feel useless and they would have a better chance of getting better with encouragement.

Finally, a few pointless moments later, the first student finally appeared to start their physical exam.

i didn't put much detail into this scene back when i first wrote this novel, so it would be better for me to silently observe everything thats happening.

'Hey, S, i don't know if you heard but the exam will go in alphabetical order, so you better observe closely if you really want to get in the middle rate-'

'Yeah yeah i got it.'

I already guessed that, i honestly didn't need Sora to repeat everything for me.

..Her voice is starting to get really annoying.

Suddenly, in the arena, multiple targets appeared out of thin air as the boring looking student grabbed a basic bow from the ground as arrows appeared into their hands.

'....It seems like thats their skill, being able to summon arrows into their hands.'

I could tell since the bow and the targets had the same thin layer of mana coating them, while the arrows had no mana at all.

As i glanced around the room, everyone's faces seemed glued to the screen.

I didn't recognize anyone except a few characters-

....Wait...

I glanced at a certain blond haired young man.

'...Shiny blond hair....Deep navy blue eyes that resembled the deepest parts of the ocean..Wide shoulders...Looks pretty tall...'

'...Holy shit the main character of my novel is literally in the same room as me.'

Aaron Earlking, the most arrogant and selfish character i ever made.

What type of bad luck do i have for me to get into this situation?

Thankfully, he didn't seem to notice me at all as i quickly went back to looking at the screen.

The boring looking student held their bow up as they got ready to let go of their arrow to shoot the targets.

Soon, after 5 seconds of fixing their posture, they immediately let go of their arrow and it hit bullseyes at the farthest target...Yet the student looked so casual.
