Our Acceptance

Days after the UA entrance exams, Ochako and Himiko waited patiently to hear if they were accepted into UA. Yet as days begin to turn into weeks, Himiko and Ochako couldn't help but to worry that they might have not passed at all. But during one evening while Ochako and Himiko were at the dining room table doing homework, their mother suddenly comes into the room with her hands behind her back as she approaches the table. Which after she did so, she looks at both Himiko and Ochako with a smile on her face.

~Mom~

"So girls, how's the homework going?"

Hearing this they both look over at their mom and took notice of her smile

~Himiko~

"It's going good, but what's up with that smile?"

~Mom~

"Oh it's just that something sort of came into the mail today."

Right after she said this it immediately captured Ochako and Himiko's full attention.

~Ochako~

"R-really, like what?"

~Mom~

"Well just a little envelope, from UA."

As their mom said that, she then pulls out an envelope with a UA stamp from behind her back as she then places it on the table, which from laying eyes upon it makes Himiko and Ochako quickly get up from their seats as they excitedly look back and forth to each other and at the envelope on the table. But yet their excitement was cut short as they realized a problem as they looked at the envelope and back over at their mother.

~Ochako~

"Wait? Was there only one envelope in the mailbox, mom?"

From Ochako asking this, the smile on their mother's face fades away as she answers the question.

~Mom~

"Yes, there was only one."

Hearing that, Ochako and Himiko looked back at one another and were immediately filled with worry. As Himiko grabbed the envelope she looked on the front and back of it, which after doing so she looks back over at Ochako.

~Himiko~

"It doesn't say who it's delivered to?"

So with not knowing who's envelope truly is, Ochako and Himiko took the envelope to their room. Once they were inside their room, they had the envelope on their desk as they looked at it with worry.

~Ochako~

"S-so should we open and find out you got accepted?"

~Himiko~

"Yeah."

~Ochako~

"(Gulp) O-okay then."

As Ochako begins to extend out her left hand towards the envelope, Himiko suddenly grab hold of Ochako's wrist, stopping her, which also grabs her attention as she looks over in Himiko.

~Himiko~

"W-wait, let's make a promise"

~Ochako~

"A promise?"

~Himiko~

"Yeah."

From saying this, Himiko moves her hand away from Ochako's wrist, as she then grabs hold of her hand with both of her own while looking directly at her.

~Himiko~

"Let's promise that whoever gets accepted, that the other won't be upset and the support the other no matter what. Okay?"
