Our Time To Shine

As the day of sports festival finally came, many people began showing up not only to see the exciting events, but to watch the young students of class 1A. While the first year student's stadium was being filled with many people and heroes, class 1A were all gathered in a locker room where they waited for the sports festival to truly begin. So as they waited, many begin preparing themselves for what's to come, amongst those many were Himiko and Ochako who are stretching each part of their body so to be ready for anything, but while they were stretching their arms and legs they went ahead and began speaking to one another.

~Himiko~

"So did you tell Mom and Dad when the sports festival supposed to begin?"

~Ochako~

"Yeah I did."

~Himiko~

"Good, but it does kind of stink knowing that they're not here cheering us on."

~Ochako~

"Yeah, but still I'm sure those two will be cheating so loud at the neighbors will hear them."

~Himiko~

"Hahah, knowing them, you're right."

From the thought of their parents cheering them on from the comfort of their own living room, Ochako and Himiko couldn't help but to laugh at this. Eventually they stopped laughing, along with finishing up their stretches. Once they finished up their stretching, Ochako and Himiko noticed Deku approaching them.

~Himiko~

"Hey there Izuku."

As Himiko said this paired with a big smile, Deku was now standing in front of the two where he then where he gave them a smile of his own.

~Deku~

"Hey there you two, aren't you hyped for the sports festival?"

~Ochako~

"We sure are, and we're all fired up and ready to go!"

With Ochako showing off her fiery spirit an excitement, Himiko couldn't help but to giggle from how cute Ochako gets when she's all fired up.

~Himiko~

"Heheh, that's right. But I wonder what type of events we'll be doing in this sports festival?"

~Deku~

"Well there's a lot of events we could end up doing but it's usually all randomized, so we won't know what event we'll end up doing until it's revealed to us, that's how the sports festival usually work after all.?"

~Himiko~

"Really? Well sounds like an interesting way to start a sports festival."

By hearing Himiko say this, Izuku couldn't help but to assume one thing which he went ahead and asked Himiko a simple questions.

~Deku~

"Uh, Hi-Himiko? Is this going to be the first UA sports festival you're going to witness?"

With Deku asking this very question, Himiko replies back to him with a smile on her face.

~Himiko~

"Yep, it sure is."

Deku was completely surprised by Himiko's response if he's never met anyone that hasn't seen the UA sports festival before."

~Deku~

"Are you serious?"

~Himiko~

"I sure am, and what other way to to experience my first UA sports festival then to be a part of it, so just like Ochako said, we're fired up and ready to go!"

Seeing Himiko's excitement, Deku couldn't help but to smile at her but yet he did feel worried about her for her not known what these events are truly capable of.

~Deku~

"Well I'm glad you're excited Hi-Himiko."

~Himiko~

"Yeah!"

After this was said, Deku turns his attention right over to Ochako.

~Deku~

"Oh, O-Ochako can I speak to you in private for a bit."

~Ochako~

"Sure thing Deku."

As Deku and Ochako took a few steps away from Himiko, the two began talking in a quiet tone.

~Ochako~

"So what did you want to talk to me about?"

~Deku~

"Well it's about Himiko, are you sure she'll be able to do some of the events in the sports festival? After all some of them could be dangerous."

Hearing this, Ochako was ready to answer this question by anyone who asked, so with a smile on her face she explained in a happy tone.

~Ochako~

"I'm confident that Himiko can definitely do these events. I say that because she has her confidence and her own skills to rely on, so don't you worry about her, Deku, she could do just fine on her own."

From all this being said, Ochako and Deku looked over their shoulders and back towards Himiko who is taking some deep breaths and clearing her mind.

~Ochako~

"You see that Deku, every time when Himiko had a big event for her gymnastics club back in junior high, she would always stand still, take some deep breaths, and clear her mind so she could get focused for for what's to come. Himiko is a lot stronger than you think, Deku."

Hearing all of this while looking at Himiko, he was now relieved of worry, as now he had confidence for her similar to how you had confidence to himself and for all of his other classmates.

~Deku~

You're right, O-Ochako, I don't know why I was ever worried."

Once that was said the two looked at one another and smiled, but as they did so, they they then heard the voice of Present Mic from the intercom which grabbed everyone's attention.

~Present Mic~

"All students from each class, this is your announcer and teacher, Present Mic! And it is time to rock! So all students head to the fields of the arena so we can get this sports festival started!"

After hearing Present Mic's from the intercom, Iida went ahead and began ordering the class ordering the class.

~Iida~

"All right class 1A, form a line based on your seating row! We must show the audience that we have order in our class!"

With Iida seeing this with a serious and sturdy tone, Denki with quick to reply to him.

~Denki~

"You're the only one not in line yet dude."

From hearing those words, Iida felt defeated as he thought he was going against his own words. Meanwhile as everyone else was getting in line, Himiko looked over at Deku and Ochako where she called out to them.

~Himiko~

"Hey come on you two! Let's get going! It's our time to shine after all!"

With hearing these words while looking directly at Himiko, Ochako and Deku turned around and smiled with confidence as they began approaching Himiko while also replying back to what she said.

~Deku / Ochako~

"Right!" / "Right!"
