Protect Her

As Mirko and Mirio were still holding their own against Overhaul who has absorbed his second in command Chronostasis, to give himself extra limbs and more strength to withstand Mirio and Mirko's blows which in fact he was now able to keep up with as each one of their attacks that came at him he was able to block using his now two extra arms which he also used to sometimes to hit the two away, yet during that whole fight Overhaul's main goal was to take back Eri who was still in the arms of Mirio who was too afraid to set her down due to last time of what was going to happen to her. So with Mirio holding onto Eri and still being able to hold off on his own against Overhaul, he was limited with his quirk's usage which put him in a big disadvantage as one slip up could cost him his very life if he doesn't use his quirk at the right moments, luckily he wasn't alone, Mirko who had still had a tip of a spike lodged into her thigh was still fighting with all of her strength as she was completely determined to bring down Overhaul, even while completely injured. So with Overhaul's persistence attack towards Mirio to retrieve Eri, Mirko did her best to stay close as each of her attacks were sudden and unexpected kicks to either one of his sides or to his head, but with some of her attempts they would be blocked with either sudden spikes that burst out of the ground or even one of his extra arms, get this time as Mirko was coming in with a left kick to the side of his head, Overhaul had had enough of her and Mirio, so instead of blocking another kick he instead reaches out with his extra arm and grabs hold of Mirko's ankle while she was in mid kick, with having a firm grip on her ankle he then swung her straight towards Mirio who by seeing Mirko flying right at him he he knew he wouldn't be able to back away in time so instead he shielded Eri with his entire body as he was then hit with Mirko's entire body which from this happening, Overhaul let go of Mirko's ankle making her and Mirio fly straight into a wall which they break right through from their impact and enter a fairly large room which after they hit the ground and were besides one another. Though after breaking through a thick concrete wall, Mirio looked down at Eri and asked if she was okay while smiling at her.

~Mirio~

"Are you okay Eri? You're not hurt are you?"

From Mirio asking that very question, Eri who was unharmed and did not obtain a single scratch looked up at him saw the scratches and bruises on his face yet he still had his smile.

~Eri~

"Y-yes, but your-"

Before Eri could finish her own sentence, Mirio reassured her quickly.

~Mirio~

"Don't worry about me, I'm just fine."

Though after hearing Mirio say this, Eri and Mirio settling began to hear the sound of groaning beside them, so as they turned their heads they saw Mirko who was turned away from them yet was struggling to lift herself up as light pool of blood began to form around her right thigh. Seeing that they both knew that she was very injured.

~Mirio~

"Mirko are you-"

Tell me right when Mirio was about to ask her if she was okay, Mirko cut him off completely with her reply.

~Mirko~

"I'm fine! I'm fine. Just keep protecting the kid okay? She's what matters right now, so no matter don't you dare let go of her, understood!?"

Hearing the slight pain in her voice yet with the determination she still had on protecting Eri, Mirio replied back honestly.

~Mirio~

"Understood loud and clear."

~Mirko~

"Good! Now get up, this fight is far from over."

So from that being said, Mirio lifted himself from the ground while still holding on to Eri in his arms, Mirko in the other hands was slightly struggling to lift yourself up from the ground due to the amount of blood she was beginning to lose which began to slightly make her pale, yet still very determined she she gained even more of her strength to lift herself back up and held herself up by left, with the two now back on their feet they turned around and saw Overhaul standing right in the hole that Mirio and Mirko had just made.

~Overhaul~

"The two of you are still alive after that huh? Well I would be lying if I said I was surprised, but knowing how much you two have been so much of a pain to deal with it only makes sense that you would survive something so simple like a crash through a wall."

Saying all of that, Overhaul out from that hole and landed on the ground and stared directly at Mirko and Mirio, yet his eyes turned towards Eri once again.

~Overhaul~

"Do you really want all of this to continue all because of you Eri? Look at them! You've become nothing but a burden to them! So I say again come back, come back to me and I might be spare their very lives."

Seeing what Overhaul is clearly doing, Mirio and Mirko we're about to object his words, yet before they could do that though, Eri suddenly pushed yourself right off of Mirio and landed on the ground which by her doing left Mirio and Mirko completely shocked. Before the two could tell her to come back to them, Eri turned around and looked directly at Overhaul who she went ahead and spoke over towards.

~Eri~

"If I come back, do you promise not to hurt them anymore."

~Overhaul~

"Yes I promise, come now we must get going."

~Eri~

"O-okay."

So without further disobeying him, Eri willingly begin making her way right towards Overhaul, yet as she did so, Mirko was about to leap over towards her to stop what she was going to do, but before she can even try, Mirko's vision and head went completely blurry due to the blood loss which eventually had her fall back to the ground now leaving her completely weak. By Mirio seeing Mirko fall to the ground he knew he needed to get her some help yet he also knew that he couldn't let Eri go with Overhaul, so looking back and forth at Eri and Mirko to make a decision, he suddenly felt his right ankle be grabbed which by feeling this it made look down to his right and notice that it was Mirko who not only was holding on to his ankle but was looking up at him as she then and giving him a direct order.

~Mirko~

"Protect her."

By hearing those two words, Mirio understood what decision he needed to make, so with no longer hesitating, Mirio began to phase out of Mirko's grip as he began to sink into the ground which was noticed by Overhaul who quickly reacted, as his new right hand suddenly revealed a revolver which by opening up the chamber his other hand began to load in two and improved quirk canceling bullets, which once loaded, the pistol was then handed to his own right hand which he suddenly in the right towards Eri who by seeing a gun being aimed right at her made her come to a complete stop which frightened her, and without any hesitation from Overhaul, he pulled the trigger sending the new modified quirk canceling bullet straight towards Eri, yet before the bullet could even hit her, Mirio suddenly appeared out of the ground in front of her and shielded her with his body, taking the bullet to his back yet from doing so he remained having the smile on his face as he looked at Eri. With seeing that Mirio took the bullet, that was Overhaul's true intentions which now left Mirio completely quirkless.

~Overhaul~

"That's one down, now for the other."

Overhaul says this as he aims directly at Mirko who is completely defenseless on the ground, he pulls the hammer of the revolver back and prepares to pull the trigger, yet before you can put more pressure on the trigger of the revolver, another wall was suddenly burst open which made Overhaul not pulled the trigger as he covered his face, yet as soon as he did this the hole that was just made had Deku and Himiko jumping right out with Sir Nighteye following from behind.
