The Bust

Hours after the bank robbery, Himiko and Mirko continued their patrol around the city of Hiroshima all the way until the sun went down making each building and street now lit up. With such a long patrol, Himiko and Mirko decided to finally take a break on a rooftop where they had a great view of the lit city paired with the view they also had some smacks to replenish their energy, so with a view and some snacks the two were really enjoying themselves and each other's company.

~Mirko~

"You know kid, I have to say I made a good choice."

Hearing Mirko say this, Himiko looked over at her with a confused expression.

~Himiko~

"About what?"

Mirko looks right over at Himiko, who she goes ahead and smiles at

~Mirko~

"Becoming one of those Heroes to take in brats under their wing, and I'm glad you're the bread I chose."

Though hearing Mirko say that in quite an odd way, Himiko couldn't help but to smile and be happy from hearing this as she too was glad to also be chosen by Mirko.

~Himiko~

"Well I'm glad too. I'm happy to be under your wing, or should I see ears?"

Himiko smiles while pointing at the top of her own head clearly talking about Mirko's two rabbit ears, which by her hearing this made her let out a bit of a chuckle.

~Mirko~

"Heheh, good one kid."

As the two shared a smile with one another they both agreed that this very moment was worth treasuring by the second, yet suddenly this moment was cut short as they both heard the sound of a crash down in the streets. Himiko and Mirko both quickly look over the ledge of the roof where they see a van that has crashed against the rear of a car, by seeing this they figured that it was just a simple car crash yet suddenly the van backed up from the car it crashed into until eventually driving off meaning to them that a crime has now been committed.

~Mirko~

"Well kid, I guess break time is over."

~Himiko~

"Aww, I didn't even get to finish my snacks."

~Mirko~

"Don't worry, the snacks will still be here when we get back, now let's go do our job."

~Himiko~

"Whatever you say."

So without wasting any further time, Mirko and Himiko leaked off the roof they were on and landed on the neighboring rooftop which they began running on until jumping to other rooftops which by doing this they had a clear sight of The runaway van which by the looks of it was driving quite recklessly as it as it was swerving through the streets nearly and hitting other cars through the very streets. Eventually after pursuing the van from the rooftops, Mirko and Himiko saw the van turn a corner into an alleyway across the street, seeing this Mirko bent her strong legs and launched herself clear across to the other roof on the other side, by Himiko seeing this she took a step back to do a running start, once she ran closer to the ledge she jumped right off but while still in the air, Himiko quickly extended out her right arm which shot out a narrow grapple attached itself to a water tower and by this happening it reeled Himiko in, making her reach the other side of of the roof. Once on the other side of the rooftop, Himiko recalled her grapple and continued following Mirko on the rooftop while looking down in the other way and spotting the van. Eventually the van came to a complete stop deep deep in the alleyway, which by seeing this most made Mirko and Himiko both come to a complete stop as they look down from the rooftop and waited to see why they have come to a complete stop. While observing from above they saw the doors of each side of the van open which soon enough two men stepped out, yet by looking at these two men, they noticed that they were wearing some strange masks which looked like long bird beaks. Shortly after another vehicle showed up and came to a stop behind the van which soon after two other men dressed in suits stepped right on out. Both men from each car approached one another and begin talking to each other but yet Himiko couldn't hear what they were saying, but luckily Himiko could hear them perfectly due to her bunny ears, so with her excellent hearing she began to overhear the conversation between the men below."

~Man in mask~

"It's good that you showed up, do you have the money?"

~Man in suit~

"Of course I do, do you have what I ordered?"

~Man in mask~

"I sure do, it's in the back."

~Man in suit~

"Well then let us see it."

So they approached the back of the van which one of the the masked men went ahead and opened the back, which by the two men in suits looking inside they showed please the expressions which was enough for Mirko to find out what was going on so without saying, Mirko jumped over the ledge of the roof and begin falling straight down yet her feet land directly on the roof of the van which heavily dents it. By the sound of the top part of the van being dented, the men stepped back and looked right onto the roof where they saw Mirko standing right on top with a smirk while she was cracking her knuckles.

~Mirko~

"Sorry for crashing in, but I won't be sorry for what I'm about to do to you."

By Mirko saying this, the men were quite intimidated, yet they were still not going to back down, so both men in suits reachbehind themselves as they both pulled out a handgun each which they then pointed right over at Mirko, yet before any of them could fire, multiple metal needles pierced the men's hands which made them drop their weapons, by this suddenly happening, Mirko shortly glanced up at the rooftop where she saw Himiko who with clearly holding needles in between the fingers of each hand, looking back down at the men and seeing that they are now unarmed gave Mirko the chance she wanted, so without wasting any time, Mirko quickly jumped off the van and in between the men who she quickly began dealing with with strong kicks which sent them flying to the walls and even through the cars windshield. Eventually each man where now lying completely unconscious giving Himiko to repel herself down from the rooftop above, Yet while Himiko was repelling herself from above, Mirko quickly took this chance to check inside the van where is her surprise she saw a massive supplies of quirk enhancing serums which were clearly illegal. Once Himiko's feet touchy the ground, she walked over towards Mirko yet as soon as she got close, Mirko slammed the back doors of the van shut. Soon after doing this she took in a deep breath and turned around where she looked directly at Himiko, who she went ahead and gave orders too.

~Mirko~

"All right kid, call the cops and catch them up on everything that just went down here."

~Himiko~

"You got it."

Once after saying this, Himiko was quick to pull out her phone and call the authorities, yet while she was doing this, Mirko glanced right over at the closed doors of the van which she looked angrily at as she was well aware of what was inside.
