Sirens blared through the city as multiple police vehicles raced towards the Mayor's home, which was a lovely place just at the edge of town, settled in a gated neighborhood to ensure everyone's safety. Although with the Mayor being a suspect in a murder, how safe was this neighborhood really? The once peaceful neighborhood was now swarmed with up to seven cop cars, with armed officials within each vehicle. Nobody wanted to take any chances with this arrest, even if it was the Mayor, it was safe to assume he could be hostile if he was the one behind all the decapitations.

Anthony and Clyde soon arrived on the scene, witnessing the mess unfold before them as they sat in the safety of Anthony's car, watching as officers called to the occupants in the home to come out with their hands up. The officers had to ensure the detectives' safety by removing any possible threat, which in this case was the mayor, and scanning through the house for anything that could pose harm. So for the time being, Anthony and Clyde patiently waited and watched the trained officers work.

The noise of the sirens and loudspeaker calls alerted most of the neighborhood to see what was going on, watching as the front door of the house opened up, revealing a startled-looking Mayor who wasn't dressed professionally. Wearing a casual graphic t-shirt and jeans, even a few scars were visible over the Mayor's face.

The Mayor held his rough-looking hands up to comply with whatever the officers told him to do, revealing he had no weapons or any intent to cause trouble, but safety was still everyone's main priority. Turning around as instructed, the Mayor walked backward towards one of the many officers that littered the streets, feeling his arms pull back and soon cuffed together. One threat down, but there was still more to do before Anthony and Clyde could investigate.

The two glared at the rough-looking Mayor, Clyde shaking his head as he couldn't believe this was happening "What are they going to do now, If the Mayor is guilty?" Clyde asked.

Anthony shrugged "Not my problem, honestly, I don't care who's in charge... as long as I get my job done, I'd be happy" Anthony seemed quite excited to watch the Mayor get arrested, hoping this was the last piece they needed, the killer they've been searching for.

Armed officers entered the vacant home, checking every room within to hopefully eliminate any surprises, and from the looks of things, nothing seemed to be off or wrong, allowing the detectives to finally do their job.

Exiting the vehicle, Anthony and Clyde made their way across the beautifully kept lawn, entering carefully as their eyes scanned over every single item they came across... anything could be a clue.

The first room they entered was an entry room, well furnished with cushioned chairs and benches, not having anything out of the ordinary besides dirty shoes on a shoe rack, but the two moved on.

The second room was an open-planned living room, kitchen, and dining room. A large room that contained extravagant yet comfortable furniture you'd commonly see in a living room, as well as a large TV, rug, and end tables. The kitchen was also quite large, having plenty of counter space and technology used for cooking, even a half-eaten bag of chips laid across the counter, possibly being tossed there due to the police's untimely interruption. The dining room also looked grand, having a large table, beautifully carved wooden chairs, and a few unlit candles upon the table's surface. Nothing of note here.

Anthony and Clyde moved to the garage, which was cluttered with junk and tools. Finding things like an ax, saw, common toolbox instruments, wires and cables, and more suspicious-looking items, though none of them were stained in any kind of crimson... either these tools have been cleaned, or never used at all during the murders.

Moving on to the upstairs floor, the two investigated the Mayor's bedroom. The privacy of this room didn't matter in a time like this, as the two looked through every dresser drawer and nightstand, even the closet and under the bed. Within this room, Clyde found a jewelry box, opening it to find necklaces, bracelets, and rings all neatly organized... even finding Darren's missing rings. Clyde knew these belonged to Darren as looking at them closer revealed a faded red stain on the innermost part of the ring. This already proved that the Mayor was guilty, but there was more.
