Jungkook couldn’t shake the feeling that everything was spiraling faster than he could keep up with. The message had been clear, but it only left him with more questions. You’re almost there. Almost where?

His phone buzzed again. This time, it wasn’t a message—it was a notification from a map app. He didn’t remember opening it, but the location marker was clearly visible.

It was a small café on the other side of town.

This can’t be a coincidence.

Jungkook hesitated for only a second before making up his mind. His feet moved without thought, his mind set on one thing: following the clues, even if he didn’t fully understand them yet.

The streets were quiet as he walked, the city beginning to fade into the early evening. It wasn’t a long walk, but with each step, the pull inside him grew stronger, urging him forward.

When he finally reached the café, the outside looked unassuming—a small, tucked-away spot that almost seemed out of place in the bustling city. He pushed open the door, the familiar scent of coffee filling the air.

The café was nearly empty, save for a few customers scattered at tables in the corner. Jungkook scanned the room, searching for something, anything, that could explain the strange pull he felt.

Then, his eyes locked onto a figure sitting by the window.

It was her.

Her hair was different, lighter, but there was no mistaking the way her presence commanded the room. She sat there, as if waiting for him, her back turned but her attention drawn to the window. Her face was still hidden, but the feeling was undeniable.

This is it.

Jungkook’s heart raced as he took a step toward her, but before he could get any closer, the door to the café swung open.

A man walked in.

Jungkook stopped in his tracks, his heart sinking. He wasn’t sure why, but the sight of the stranger immediately felt wrong. Something about him was out of place.

He watched as the man approached her, speaking softly. Jungkook could only catch bits of their conversation, but the woman didn’t turn around. She didn’t even acknowledge him.

Who is he?

Jungkook’s instincts screamed at him to move, to get closer, but something held him back. He couldn’t risk making himself known—not yet.

He stayed hidden in the shadows, watching her through the crowd. Was this a test? A game? Or was it a warning?

Everything felt out of place, and yet, Jungkook couldn’t shake the sense that this moment, right here, was the beginning of something much bigger than he could imagine.
