Himiko's Silly Birthday

   "Nyeh? What's this?" Himiko asked, noticing a polka-dotted envelope on her nightstand. She opened it and pulled out a bright and colorful invitation card. Himiko recognized the handwriting and smiled. It was definitely from Kokichi.

  Himiko, come to the backyard at 1:p.m.! it read. You're gonna have the best birthday party of your life! Love, your Supreme Leader boyfriend, you-know-who. And, if you don't know who this is, you're in biiiig trouble, missy! P.S Don't forget to wear your special birthday dress I picked out for you! Himiko rolled her eyes and giggled. She loved the silly notes Kokichi would leave her sometimes. She looked at her closet door, and sure enough, Kokichi left a white, sleeveless dress with a flared, pleated skirt and a crimson sash around the waist. Hanging along with the dress was a white cloche hat with a crimson band. Right by the door was a pair of dark red mary jane heels. Seeing that it was almost time for whatever Kokichi had planned for her, she got dressed and headed outside to the backyard.

  "Himiko, hi!" Kaede said, waving to her. Himiko was surprised to see most of her other housemates waiting for her under the gazebo. "Happy birthday!" The others wished her a happy birthday, as well.

   "Havin' a good one, so far?" asked Rantaro. 

  "Nyeh...I think so," Himiko nodded.

  "You look so cute, Himiko!" Angie chirped. 

  "You really do!" Kaede agreed. "Where'd you get that outfit?"

  "Kokichi picked it out for me," Himiko replied.

  "Ah, speaking of which, I think he reserved a seat for you here in the middle," Shuichi said, gesturing to a card that said, "Reserved for Himiko." Himiko removed the card and took her seat.

  "So...you guys got invited, too?" she asked. 

  "Yeah. Gonta got envelope saying to go to backyard for special surprise!" Gonta said.

  "Same here," said Ryoma.

  "It seems we all received the same message," Kiyo said. "I am intrigued to see what Kokichi has planned for us...though, I am also wary. One can never expect to know what they are up against when dealing with him."

  "Whatever he's doing, he also has Kaito involved somehow," Maki chimed in.

  "Kaito?" Tsumugi repeated, looking around.

  "Ha! No wonder it's so quiet!" Miu said. "Maybe he and the twerp are havin' a fuck session!" Himiko and Maki turned to glare at her.

  "Stop it!" Himiko said. 

  "Seriously. Do you wanna die?" Maki threatened. 

  "Sorryyyy...it was just a jooooke!" Miu whimpered.
