Recollection (kinda on a sorta hiatus)

Arrival

              I had made plans with my two best friends Mina and Lidia; we were going to the mall so we could hang out on labor day weekend. I was barely the type of person to go out much, but I stayed in a lot of summer and they kind of forced me. On our ways to the mall we blasted music until the playlist ended, only a couple minutes before we got to the mall. 

I couldn't lie; of course I was having an amazing time I was with my best friends. We left pretty early in the morning so we could go to every one of our favorite stores. They told me it would be a day I won't forget, I trusted them like always. 

"We're here guys!" Mina squealed terribly loud. 

"Oh my goodness." I sighed as I got out of my jeep. We started our way towards the south entrance.

"Arabella this will be amazing, buy some new clothes or shoes, treat yourself for once." Lidia told me like it was routine for her. We all didn't really talk much the rest of the way to the building. Of course the first thing we have to do is check the directory. Our first store was Forever 21, we didn't find much but some jewelry and hair accessories. 

"Are you having fun yet?!" Mina asked me. She had hope in her eyes and I could hear it in her voice, like it was pouring out of her. 

"Yeah so far, I guess." I slapped a big smile on my face. I didn't see how this how this was going to be a day I won't forget, I couldn't ditch them though. 

"Are you guys worried about me?" I stopped in my tracks.

"What are you talking about??" Lidia acted surprised like she didn't know what I was talking about. 

"I don't know, but you guys seem like if I didn't come something would happen. I just...everything is fine okay, its fine...I'm fine." I slightly shouted. 

"Yeah it seems that way, catch you later Arabella." Lidia was pissed off by now. 

"That's it really?! Mina are you going to leave me too? I need you guys you know." I couldn't even look at her. 

"Arabella I'm sorry I know that you can't be alone. You know I won't leave you we just want to see you be happy." Mina tried to grab my arms so I know she is sincere. I shrugged her off and walked away from them into the nearest store.

A/N 

I decided I wanted to start publishing this story I have been writing when I have time, I hope you like the first chapter. It's a little short but I will ease into longer chapters! Hopefully I can publish regularly but I might not be able to, it will not be too long in between chapters though!
