Recollection (kinda on a sorta hiatus)

Warmth

|Chapter 5|

                  "Oh. Can I ask a personal kind of question?" He nodded for me to continue. 

"How many girlfriends have you had that actually meant something to you?" He sighed. 

"One, she moved across the world without thinking. I didn't love her we were just close." I nodded. 

"Okay, I'm sorry if I crossed a boundary." I was cold because I didn't grab the heaviest jacket. Caden looked at me and motioned for me to move to the middle, I slid over and stayed slightly away so i didn't cross a line. He pulled me up close to him anyways I didn't mind all that much. 

"I'm sorry my heater is broken and I'm saving up to fix it, I should have told you before." He apologized while rubbing my arm to warm me up. 

"It's okay, I'm okay like this." He had one hand on the wheel and one around me, I grabbed his hand in mine. I turned it over looking at it, he didn't pull away or anything, I think he is like me. 

"Would you like to get some hot chocolate?" He looked at our hands and intertwined our fingers, I could swear our hands fit together perfectly. 

"That sounds great right now." I smiled into his warm side as he pulled over to Starbucks. I think he had the same idea to go to the drive through so we didn't have to move. After we got it he pulled over to the parking lot so we could sit. 

"Thank you Caden." He did a little cheeky grin. 

"You're welcome gorgeous." I had my legs over his and slipped into his lap. I realized what happened and started laughing he started laughing with me. 

"I'm sorry, I slipped off the seat." We were laughing and I was trying to get up, until I gave up stomach hurting from laughing this much in a long time. 

"Can I tell you something?" He asked me while he helped me up but he still held my hand. I nodded to him intently. 

"Please don't be mad, but I didn't really have set plans for tonight, I didn't know what you liked to do." He looked away from me out the window. I set down my cup and used my free hand to turn his head towards me. 

"I'm not mad Caden I'm having a great time don't worry." I leaned up and kissed his cheek. He brushed my hair out of my face, pulled me in close and hugged me tight but gently, like I was going somewhere. He was undeniably warm his cologne smelled great, it was the perfect thing to warm me up. When we stopped hugging I leaned into him and pulled his arm around me. 

"Is there a movie place around here?" I asked him as I took a sip of my cocoa. 

"Yeah I think so, we can look it up. What would you like to see?" He looked up theaters and times. 

"Anything is pretty much okay with me. What is out right now." He handed me his phone so I could look. I pointed to The Gallows, asking him about that one. 

"Yeah that one looks good. Buckle up." I buckled my seatbelt and he pulled out of the parking lot.

So chapter 6 is here how did you guys like it, I love writing and hope to one day write a book but this is perfect for now because at least people can see what I am doing.
