Later that night

Carter's pov.

"Carter, Lori wants to say goodbye to you before she leaves town. I worked it out with her." Dad said later that night. Jordyn was having a movie night with Elizabeth, Taylor and Grant. "I don't think Jordyn's ready to face her." I said and he smiled, "it's okay. It can just be us." We went and parked to say goodbye to her. "Did she say what direction she's coming from?" I asked and he shook his head. "Thank you for arranging this," I said and he smiled, "anything for you." "She always said that her greatest fear was losing us." I said after some silence and dad tapped on the steering wheel. "Why isn't she here?" I asked and dad looked around, "she's a fugitive, maybe it wasn't safe or she was spotted." "No. She would have found a way to see me no matter what." I said. "Maybe she didn't want to say goodbye." Dad said and my heart sank. Could she really still be mad that we chose the Wilson's over her?

We didn't want to go back home. Grant had left to go to Max's apartment, and Taylor called us shortly afterwards to come talk about something 'pertinent'. "What's up?" I asked and Max grumbled something about attention issues. "Gabe's dad is having sex with our mom." Grant said. "What?" Gabe came inside, "It's true. Me and Grant both heard them admit it during your birthday party." "What? That can't be true.." Taylor complained. "Well it has to end right?" I asked and Jordyn shrugged, "I just got here." "We have to tell her to stop. Elizabeth I mean." I said and Gabe sighed, "they make each other happy and my dad genuinely loves her." "Still.. She's married to our dad." Taylor said. "So who gets to tell mom to break up with Gabe's dad?" Taylor asked and everyone slowly looked at me. "Did I volunteer?" I asked sarcastically but they all agreed it should be me.

Taylor and I cornered her after she got home from running with David. "We all know that you're sleeping with Gabe's dad. But you have to stop." I blurted out. "What? How do you even know that?" She asked. "Gabe and Grant overheard you. Plus Gabe's known for 3 years. You have to break up with him and tell dad the truth." Taylor said and she blushed, "well I am embarrassed and ashamed to say the least..I will tell him tonight and end things with Kyle. I promise."

Later dad came downstairs, "everything is fine now. But your mom moved out." "I thought you said it was fine?" I asked and he nodded, "it is. She just is gone for now."

I walked into Taylor's room while Jordyn was in the shower, "did you get a letter from her too?" She nodded. "Mine says not to blame myself for her leaving even though it was entirely my fault." I said. "I went from having two moms to zero today." I commented at my own expense. "What are we gonna do?" Taylor asked and I shrugged, "I don't know." Jordyn came out of the shower and dried her hair in the doorway, "tomorrow's problem?" I smiled, "tomorrow." Taylor smiled, "at least we're together." "although I'm starting to get the feeling that keeping every member of this family in one place at the same time is gonna be really difficult.." Jordyn trailed off. "Goodnight Jordyn!" I cut her crazy ramblings off and she stuck her tongue out at me before crawling into bed beside me. "Night Tay." she called out and Taylor grumbled back a reply half asleep from her room. "Night Carter," she mumbled and I smiled, tomorrow was another day.

Jordyn's pov.

I just moved back into my supposed childhood home with my bereaved parents only to have everything come crashing down around us and my 'mom' to move out. Fun right? Oh and I'm sharing a room and bed with my twin sister because there's no room at the inn as it is.

Morning was crazy. I got woken up with a pillow to my face courtesy of my twin sister Carter. "We're late! We overslept!" Carter exclaimed and I rolled over, "go away." "Jordyn!" Carter complained and tried pulling me by my leg out of the bed but stopped halfway through upon noticing the dark purple bruise around my ankle. "Jordyn.. What the hell is that?" Carter asked and I waved her off just wanting to sleep some more.
