The room was unbearably quiet.

Not awkward.

Not hesitant.

Dangerous.

The soft hum of the air conditioner filled the silence as Advait walked further inside the suite like he belonged there. Like last night had never happened. Like he hadn't publicly shattered her in front of an entire family.

Samaira slowly shut the door behind her.

Click.

This time, she did it herself.

Her eyes stayed fixed on him as he casually removed his watch and placed it on the center table before settling onto the sofa with effortless composure.

Perfect posture.

Perfect control.

Perfect audacity.

And somehow-

That irritated her more than the humiliation from last night.

Advait crossed one leg over the other and finally looked at her properly.

"What would you like for breakfast?" he asked calmly.

Samaira stared at him.

Then blinked once.

Twice.

And suddenly-

A breathy laugh escaped her lips.

Not because it was funny.

Because the situation was so absurd her brain didn't know what else to do.

She walked toward him slowly, arms folded across her chest.

"Wow," she murmured.

"Bas itni si baat thi?"
*(So this was the important thing?)*

Advait remained unbothered.

She tilted her head.

"The audacity of this man..." she muttered dramatically, looking toward the ceiling. "Kal raat mera dil toda, mujhe sabke saamne barbaad kiya..."
*(Last night he broke my heart, destroyed me in front of everyone...)*

Then she looked back at him sharply.

"Aur subah breakfast poochne aa gaye."
*(And in the morning he came to ask about breakfast.)*

His expression didn't shift even slightly.

"Done?" he asked flatly.

That made her scoff.

"No actually, I'm just getting started."

She walked closer and dropped onto the armrest beside him instead of sitting properly.

Close enough to annoy him.

Close enough to test him.

"No one followed you?" she asked casually.

"No."

"No guards?"

"No."

"No dramatic surveillance team outside?"

A pause.

Then-

"I made sure no one noticed me leaving."

Samaira hummed softly.

"Smart."

Advait glanced at her briefly.
