Rodney's POV
It's the day before prom, and I feel like I'm being actively tortured by my friends.
Or whatever these niggas are.
Zavier is handsy, always finds his way into my lap or touches me or presses up against me when we're cuddling. I'm used to that though.
What I'm not used to is the other two.
I woke up this morning in a bed with three different men.
One, Zavier, was being himself. He had his arms wrapped tightly around me and laid with his face buried in my chest. He slept like he was trying to merge our bodies together, his legs intertwined between mine.
Behind me, I could feel Javier still sleeping. He was sleeping on his back, his shoulder pressing up against my back due to lack of space. That's cool. However, I wasn't expecting to wake up to him holding my hand, yet here I am... Holding his hand.
And of course, worst of all is the siren laying across from me behind Zavier.
Antwon was awake, I think he woke up first. When I opened my eyes, I was immediately met with those pretty eyes staring back at me.
My eyes widened and I immediately tried to look away, but he just kept staring, so I looked back at him.
He never said anything. He just kept those eyes on me as he caressed Zavier's head.
I know he knows how nervous he makes me... I know he does it on purpose.
I just don't know what he wants from me. What does he expect to get out of this? Does he just like making me squirm, or does he want... More?
Not that it matters. I'm too afraid of getting rejected to act on anything.
I don't care how many times he insists that he doesn't hate me. I think he does, and what I think is all I need for something to become the truth.
My eyes moved from Antwon's for a moment when I saw his arm move, making me focus on his hand as it trailed from Zavier's head and down his side before it rested on Zavier's hip. I watched his hand for a moment before letting my gaze meet his again, watching as he blinked slowly at me.
Like I said... I don't know what he wants from me.
But whatever it is... The constant teasing might make me give it to him.
I was, of course, the first to break. I looked away from his eyes and let out a breath before I slowly and carefully started maneuvering my way out of the bed without waking the other two.
Zavier groaned quietly, then simply turned over and wrapped his arms around Antwon before going right back to sleep.
Meanwhile, Javier frowned the second I let go of his hand, his eyes blinking open before he watched me through squinted eyes. "Where you goin', Guapo?" He asked in a whisper, his voice deeper than usual from him just waking up.
"Got some shit to handle, Cariño." I responded. Javier's lip quirked up in a slight smirk, then he raised an eyebrow. "You nosey as shit, Jav. Just like ya boyfriend." I gestured to Zavier, causing Javier to chuckle quietly. "I just gotta run some errands, I'll be back 'fore baby boy wakes up." I assured him as I stretched, letting out a slight groan before I continued. "When I come back imma take y'all out to eat, then I'll run the rest of my errands. I gotta get a haircut, figure I'll just take y'all wit' me since I know baby boy needs to get lined up and Antwon wants a retwist." I explained, then looked down at Javier and winked. "You still look perfect per usual though."
