Tyreek's POV
"Mr. Kingston!" Zavier exclaimed as he practically rammed into me, causing me to grunt and stumble back a bit before I laughed and wrapped my arms around him. "You're here!" He cried out.
My sensitive baby.
"You're here!" Antwon repeated as he, too, rushed into my arms.
I chuckled as I held them both strongly, rubbing their backs and swaying them back and forth. "I'm here." I nodded my head. I paused to kiss both of them on the head, then pulled back from the hug to look at them both. "Look at how handsome y'all look." I smiled, feeling my eyes sting as I looked at them.
They've grown so much since I first met them. It's insane to see that the little boys, twelve and thirteen when I met them, are adults now.
"Mr. Kingston, I'm prom queen!" Zavier sobbed, making my smile spread as he buried his face in my shoulder.
They're adults, but they're still my babies.
I placed another kiss on Zavier's head and nodded. "I know, baby boy. I saw you." I told him with a smile. "I'm so proud of both of you. My sons are royalty." I chuckled.
Antwon gave a teary eyed laugh and tried to wipe his face. "When did you get out? They said you weren't able to be released yet."
I grinned at the question and shrugged. "I decided to surprise everybody. Y'all the only ones who know I've been released so far." I explained. "I've been duckin' and dodgin' like a damn spy tryin' not to get spotted by nobody." I added with a chuckle. "Think it helps that I'm like... Fifty pounds heavier and got a beard and fro."
"You look so weird." Zavier sniffled as he tried to wipe his endlessly flowing tears away. "You need a haircut." He cried.
"How you cryin' and callin' me funny lookin' at the same time, baby boy?" I laughed. Zavier laughed as well, and then his laughter turned into sobs as he fell back into my arms. "So sensitive." I chuckled and started rubbing his back again. While he cried, I focused my attention on Antwon who seemed to be calming down easier than Zavier was. "Look atchu, prom king. So handsome." I grinned.
Antwon laughed and nodded his head. "I wasn't expecting it, but apparently Zavier was. I think he may have made some threats to get people to vote for me." He chuckled.
"Nuh uh." Was Zavier's only slightly muffled rebuttal.
Antwon rolled his eyes at him, then focused on me again. "I've got so much to tell you again already, Ty." He told me as he leaned his head on my shoulder. "Javier's my boyfriend now, and he immediately fell out with Zavier and Rodney because he started neglecting them because I guess he thought that us being together meant changing our dynamic—Kinda my fault, I knew we'd have to talk about it more than what we did... I'll tell you all about it later, it's been crazy." He shook his head in exasperation.
"I can't wait to hear all about it, Twon." I told him with a smile, then looked up as Antwon and Zavier's friends and boyfriends approached. "Wassup, kids?" I greeted them, and they all greeted me back. "I'm boutta kidnap Twon and Z soon, y'all more than welcome to come back our house and hang there if y'all want to though." I offered, then looked at Javier specifically. "Imma talk to you soon too. Business shit."
"Oh." Javier said, then nodded. "Yessir."
Keeping one arm around Zavier while he continued to cry, I pulled out my phone and ordered a ride for us.
The prom king and queen crying in a grown man's arms did, of course, gather attention from the rest of the kids, and it didn't take long for people to start piecing things together—But I didn't worry about that. I just put my full attention on my boys until the uber was outside.
