I was sitting in my home office, working on my laptop, when I decided to check the moon through the camera. But instead of the moon, I saw her dog causing havoc in front of the camera. The dog was clawing at the spot where the teddy bear was placed, barking and scratching at the lens, leaving noticeable marks. This annoyed me immensely.

I yelled at the dog out of frustration, knowing full well it couldn't hear or understand me. Despite my shouting, it continued its antics, scratching the camera so badly that the footage became slightly blurry. "This dog," I thought, "not only pervert but also naughty too in it!"

Frustrated and unable to focus anymore, I shut my laptop and ran a hand over my face, trying to calm myself down. Just as I was about to leave my office, my phone buzzed. It was a call from her-Moon. She asked me out on a date. Honestly, I didn't even consider saying no. It wasn't just an opportunity; it was one I couldn't afford to miss. So, without hesitation, I said yes.

I immediately grab my phone and call Aditya, instructing him to postpone all work scheduled for the next day. With that out of the way, I head to my room and walk straight to my wardrobe.

Standing there, I begin the daunting task of choosing what to wear for tomorrow. It takes me a full hour just to pick the perfect outfit combing through every option, debating colors, styles, and fits. But it doesn't stop there.

Shoes and accessories are still pending. I shift my focus to selecting the right pair of shoes and a matching watch, trying to make everything look seamless. This process eats up another two hours, but I'm determined to leave no stone unturned.

In car

I was driving the car and the moon set on the passenger seat. Our first date didn't go well at all. It was supposed to be special, but it turned out to be a double date-with my brother and his fiance. The whole setup felt odd and awkward, but what could I do? Now, asking Moon about it doesn't seem like a good idea either. It's written all over her face that she's not happy with this weird situation. From the moment we got in the car, she's been staring out of the window, not even glancing my way.

This was supposed to be a memorable first date, but instead, it's a complete disaster. Honestly, I feel worse for the Moon than for myself. I'm pretty sure even Anuj didn't know about this double date. Which means this whole arrangement is the handiwork of Moon's bestie. But again, what could I do? She's my future sali Sahiba (sister- in - law ) , and upsetting my sali would probably upset my future hone wali gharwali (wife ) too. It's a lose-lose situation.

All these thoughts were running through my head when we finally reached her house. She still looked upset. I stopped the car and quickly got out, intending to open the door for her, but before I could, she opened it herself. Without much emotion, she said, "Okay, bye... and yeah, sorry for today."

It was obvious she wasn't happy. I wanted to say something, anything, to make things better, but before I could get a word out, she turned and went inside. No hug, no kiss nothing. Just like that, the moment ended, leaving me standing there feeling helpless and disappointed.

I was sitting in my home office, staring at my laptop, but my mind was elsewhere. I pulled up the feed from Moon's camera. The image was blurry-thanks to that dog of hers who probably damaged it-but I could still see bits and pieces. She walked into her room, tossed her purse on the bed, and lay down. Her face wasn't fully visible, and she wasn't saying anything either.
