Anirudha pov

It was the day of her haldi ceremony, and I had an important task to complete. To make it happen I need to go back to the venue again. Neera had already informed me that Samarth had increased security, so this time, I wasn't going alone. I decided to bring my brother, Anuj, and my sister along. Neera would also be there to help. I needed to reach the venue before the ceremony started.

"Bhai, wear the saree properly. It keeps coming undone," Anahita said, rolled her eyes.

"I am wearing it properly. Why don't you help instead of just standing there and enjoying the show?" Anuj replied, clearly annoyed.

"Bhai, are you ready yet?- Anahita asked, turning to me.

"Yes, I'm ready," I said calmly.

The plan for today was nothing short of insane. We were going to disguise ourselves as performers and sneak into the venue. Anuj and Anahita were dressing up as dancers in sarees, while I was their supposed leader. And who came up with this brilliant idea? None other than my sister, Anahita. Last night, she and Neera decided I'd wear a fake beard and moustache, tie a turban, and act as the head of this make-believe dance troupe. Neera had already told everyone at the venue that the performance was a surprise for her bestie, Isha, so we were banking on that to avoid suspicion.

"I'm done," Anuj said, fidgeting with his saree.

"Who even thought of this idiotic plan?" he muttered.

Idiotic? Are you calling me idiotic?" Anahita snapped. Mujhe jaisi samajhdar is pure kaynaat mai koi nhi. Mai Kamal hu dhamal hu bemisaal hu...

(There's no one smarter than me in this entire universe. I'm amazing, fantastic, and unmatched!)

Watching her dramatic antics, I couldn't help but question how this girl could possibly be my sister.

"Yeah, right. You're samajhdar, and I'm the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe," Anuj shot back sarcastically.

( Genius )

"What's that supposed to mean?" Anahita asked, narrowing her eyes.

"It means a fool is calling herself a genius,"Anuj retorted with a smirk.

"Bhai, you Stay right there" Anahita yelled and lunged at him, pulling at his hair.

"Stop it, Surpanakha ki sasti copy"
Anuj shouted, grabbing her hair in retaliation.

(Surpanakha's cheap knockoff)

"Enough, both of you!" I shouted, stepping in between them. "If either of you says one more word or starts fighting again, you'll have to deal with me."

I sighed. These two were completely insane. They were adults now, but they fought like stray dogs. And Anuj he was about to get married, yet he still behaved like this.

"I'll deal with you later," Anahita muttered, fixing her hair.

"Deal with me now. I'm already bad in front of you," Anuj teased.

They were about to start another round of fighting when I interrupted again. "Quiet! Sit down and behave, or I'll leave you both here and go alone."

"Fine, Bhai. We won't fight anymore," they said in unison, looking sheepish.

"Did you call Arnav Bhai? He's supposed to bring the rest of the group," Anuj asked.

"Yes, I called him. He'll meet us directly at the venue," I replied.
