Isha pov ~

Two days have passed since he left, and I miss him terribly. It feels as though a piece of my heart has been taken far away from me. We haven't talk in these two days, and I keep telling myself that he's probably busy with work. Yes, that must be it. I glance around the office; everyone's immersed in their tasks, yet the place feels empty. Without him, everything seems so quiet, so incomplete.

Lost in these thoughts, I suddenly hear Riya's voice. "Isha, have you finished the Agarwal Industries file? It needs to be handed over to Arnav Sir today."

I nodded. "Yes, I've completed it. But who should I give it to? Sir isn't here."

"So what if he isn't?" she said. "Just leave it in Anirudha Sir's cabin. Arnav Sir will pick it up when he comes."

"Alright," I said and grabbed the file, heading toward the cabins. But honestly, the thought of facing Arnav Sir had me feeling a bit awkward. He'd seen him get scolded by me before, and I couldn't help but wonder what he must think about me. Ever since that incident, whenever he sees me in the office, he teases me by calling me "Bhabhi" with a playful smile.

He even told me not to address him as "Sir" anymore. When I'd confessed that calling him by his name felt strange, he'd suggested, "Then just call me Devar Ji. I won't mind." That made me feel... odd. Not bad, but....

And knowing that Anirudha Sir had told him everything didn't help. Why did he have to tell him? It's embarrassing. Couldn't he come up with some other excuse? Still, what choice did he have? Arnav Sir had seen him scolding me, after all.

With all this running through my mind, I finally reached Anirudha Sir's cabin. But even his cabin felt lifeless without him there. It was as though the space itself missed him, mirroring my own emotions.

I placed the file on his desk and found myself moving toward his chair. As my fingers brushed the chair, memories flooded back. I could still recall the day he had pulled me onto his lap so effortlessly and kiss me, making my heart race. My gaze shifted toward the wall, and another memory resurfaced how he had pinned me against it, and called me "Moon" for the first time. Just thinking about it made me feel as though my cheeks were turning crimson. I was definitely blushing.

Trying to compose myself, I moved toward the sofa. Another memory hit me, making me smile softly. It was the time he had sold my beloved Luna Baby and how furious I'd been. I had chased after him relentlessly, throwing whatever I could find in his direction, while he tried to pacify me with his cheesy pick-up lines. I hadn't listened to a word he said then, too caught up in my anger, but now the thought of it made me chuckle a little.

Lost in these emotions, I was startled when the cabin door opened. I turned toward the entrance, narrowing my eyes in curiosity. What is she doing here? I thought to myself. Perhaps she didn't know that Anirudha Sir wasn't in the office. But even so, shouldn't she have knocked before entering? This was the boss's cabin, after all.

Maybe she had some work with Arnav Sir. After all, he did occasionally use Anirudha Sir's cabin. Whatever I thought, brushing it off as I headed toward the door to leave. Just as I was about to step out, Kaira grabbed my wrist.

I turned to look at her, confused. Her expression was cold, almost hostile, like I had somehow wronged her.

"Why are you holding my hand? What's wrong?" I asked.

She smirked a smirk that didn't sit right with me at all. There was something unsettling about it.

"What do you think of yourself?" she asked, her tone sharp and accusatory.
