Bang, bang, bang——!

The couple rolling lazily in the bed were awakened by the sudden loud noise.

Bang, bang——!

Late at night, someone knocked on the door roughly.

Hee-joo instinctively shuddered, Baek Sa-eon cursed inwardly and glared in a certain direction in the air.

He casually picked up the sweatpants hanging on the armchair, without even wearing underwear, and hurriedly put them on and walked out.

『…Big…help…the situation is not good——』

『…wait——』

As soon as he went out, the cold wind immediately blew in beside the empty bed.

Hee-joo roughly guessed the situation and hurriedly picked up the clothes that fell on the ground and put them on. At this time, Baek Sa-eon heard a familiar voice and walked back to the bedroom.

"You put your clothes on backwards."

The man grabbed Hee-joo's hurried hand and helped her put her clothes on.

There was a hurried sound of footsteps outside the door, as if urging Baek Sa-eon, but he seemed unusually calm. Hee-joo couldn't help but glance outside the door nervously.

"Aren't you going to go out and take a look?"

"It's okay."

"How can it be okay..."

Hee Joo pouted her lips.

"Okay, don't be so hasty to get dressed."

"Huh?"

"You look like you're going to run barefoot to the balcony, I don't like that."

"......!"

"I won't hide you."

He grabbed Hee Joo's face tightly and gently stroked her cheek.

"Take your time."

When Baek Sa-eon walked out slowly, the government soldiers were busy opening the windows to ventilate themselves. What a ridiculous behaviour.

Who would break into the home of a reunited couple late at night? Baek Sa-eon quietly folded his arms.

"Why are you here when you're so busy?"

Baek Sa-eon has become a target of the rebels and cannot return to the public, so he can only hide in a safe house.

In the past six months, the information he obtained as a negotiator for the rebels should have been handed over to the speaker in front of him, but why they still came to him was really puzzling.

'How long do you plan to hide?'

The speaker's sign language was conveyed by the interpreter.

Baek Sa-eon sat lazily on the chair and answered.

'As agreed, please protect me until I go abroad. When the foreign journalists evacuate, I plan to go to the UK with my wife.'

'Hmm...'

The speaker touched his chin, his face was blurry. Baek Sa-eon narrowed his eyes.

'Are you just disturbing my night to ask about the itinerary?'

'Something went wrong.'

With a heavy sigh, Baek Sa-eon's expression twisted slightly.

'The employees of the Korean trading company stationed in Argan have been kidnapped. The Korean government is contacting us.'
