Part Thirty-One

At ten o'clock in the morning, Lutfi Abu Zahra is sitting in his office.

The secretary enters and tells him that there is a police secretary from the police department who wants to meet him and that this is an important matter.

Lutfi Abu Zahra gave the secretary permission to allow the police secretary to enter....

Police Secretary: Good morning, Mr. Lotfi Abu Zahra.

Lotfi Abu Zahra: Good morning, what happened?

Police Secretary: You are invited to appear before the investigation officer at the police department today, and this is your summons.

The Police Secretary delivered the summons to
Lotfi Abu Zahra.

Lotfi Abu Zahra: Why am I required to come to the police station?

Police Secretary: Your Excellency will know the reason when you come to the police station.

Lotfi Abu Zahra: Is it this dangerous?

Police Officer: I have no knowledge of anything.

Lotfi Abu Zahra: Addressing the secretary, please call the lawyer and come meet me at the police station.

Lotfi Abu Zahra, the police secretary, asked permission to go ahead of him, and he was going to catch up with him for the sake of public view, because it is not right for the company director to go out with the police secretary as if he had been arrested.

Youssef arrived at the villa in a very intense state of anger, and on his way to the villa he kept thinking about how he would talk to his mother Nadia about this very serious matter, and if anyone knew about it, it would be a major disaster for him and his mother, and it would also harm his companies. In the labor market, and also what will be the condition of his sister Nahid and her husband Ashraf, and even what will be the condition of his wife Hoda when she finds out the condition of her family.

Youssef parked his car in the private facility of the villa, then entered the villa and found both his sister Nahid and his wife Hoda sitting on the sofa in the hall with tension and anxiety on their faces. Youssef greeted them in the evening……

Youssef: What is the matter? It appears on your faces that something has happened?

Nahid: She cried when she started speaking, and here Youssef was afraid that someone might know about the flash drive.

Youssef: Why are you crying, Nahid? Please tell me.

Today was very difficult and I am not prepared for any other surprises.Nahid: Mama, Youssef.Youssef: He became more nervous. Mama, what’s wrong with her? Has something happened to her? Please tell me, Nahid.

Nahid: Mama was tired this morning, because she was feeling severe pain in her chest.

Youssef: Tell me quickly, Nahid, what happened to Mama?

Nahid: We called the doctor for her, and he examined her, and he told us that he suspected that my mother was suffering from angina, then he prescribed some medications for her and asked us to do an EKG and an ultrasound of the heart, and we actually did the x-rays and then we went to the hospital.

The doctor confirmed to us that this was angina, and he ordered Mama to rest completely and stay away from any emotions.

And here Youssef sat silent for a while as he said in his mind, O Lord, what are these calamities that come all at the same time?

When his wife, Hoda, noticed Youssef’s nervousness, she approached him and held his hand gently, and said, “Youssef, you are the man of the house, and you must be strong, and this is an order.” God has no hand in it. Rather, what is required of all of us is to pray for Mama and ask God for a speedy and complete recovery for her.
