Aaira carefully helped Jungkook back onto the bed, her hands trembling as she adjusted his pillows. He winced slightly but didn’t complain, his focus entirely on her. She pulled the blanket over him and sat beside him, brushing her tears away as she watched him.

His injuries were still fresh, and every movement seemed to cause him pain, but he refused to let it stop him. He wanted to be there for her, especially now that they had made the decision to fight this together. Jungkook glanced up at her. He reached for her hand, pulling her gently toward him.
Jungkook: "Tomorrow,"
He said softly.
Jungkook: "give me your phone. I want to keep it with me."
Aaira looked at him, confused for a moment.
Aaira: "What do you mean?"
Jungkook: "I don’t want him contacting you anymore,"
He said, his voice filled with a quiet urgency.
Jungkook: "If you’re not in possession of your phone, he won’t be able to reach you. I’ll keep it safe, make sure there’s no way he can hurt you through it."
Aaira hesitated but then nodded.
Aaira: “I understand.”
It was hard to let go of the one thing that had connected her to Jimin, but if it meant keeping Jungkook safe and getting rid of the threat, she would do it. Jungkook smiled, a faint, reassuring expression on his face.
Jungkook: "We’ll wait for me to heal, and during that time, you’ll stay with me. Close to me. No matter what happens. If he comes back, we’ll face it together."
Aaira's heart ached at his words. The fear that had plagued her since the first message still lingered, but something about Jungkook's strength, his unwavering determination to protect her, brought her a sense of calm she hadn’t felt in weeks.
They agreed that they would stay close, that no matter what, they wouldn’t allow the stalker to break their bond. But as the days passed and Jungkook’s wounds healed slowly, the fear never fully disappeared. A month passed, and nothing changed. The phone remained in Jungkook’s hands, untouched by any further threats. Or at least Jungkook didn't tell her about it.
Every night, Aaira found herself lying beside him. And though the silence of the phone was comforting, the dread of what could come next always lingered at the edge of her mind, she would shee shadows every time she looked out of the window. But with Jungkook beside her, she felt a glimmer of hope that, no matter how powerful the stalker seemed, they could face whatever came together.

His injuries slowly improved, and the strength he once had began to return. But despite his recovery, he had made a decision.
