The walkie-talkie crackled with static before a girl's voice came through, sharp and clear.

"Perria, do you copy? Report in."

"Loud and clear, Kuro! I'm in position. Getting ready to-"

"No, wait!" Kuro shouted, her voice strained. "Perria, you don't have a clear plan! We need to regroup and-"

"I know, I know," Perria interrupted, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm. "But I've got this. I can feel it! I'm so close to taking them out."

"Wait-" Before Kuro could finish her words, Perria ended the call, causing the black haired girl to sigh in distress.

"This girl is so stubborn..." she mumbled, her blue eyes narrowed. Kuro quickly activated the GPS on their personal helper bot . She starts to rush toward Perria's location, the small device's beeping growing louder with every step.

Perria stood victorious in the middle of the ruins, wiping the sweat from her brow with a grin plastered across her face. Her grey hair is messy due to the intense yet exciting fight. There is dust and dirt on her battle suit,a battle suit with the same design as Kuro. A white coloured suit with special design that allowed them to move freely.

She tossed one of her guns into the air, watching it spin before catching it professionally and with style. The guns dissolved into a sleek bracelets, its form shifting and folding seamlessly.

"Fiuh... One point to the great Perria!" she said smugly, the thrill of the victory clear in her voice.

"Perria!" Kuro's voice cut through the still air, stern and sharp.

Perria's smile faltered as she turned to face her friend, who had arrived breathless and with her hands on her hips. Kuro's eyes were narrowed, a mix of relief and frustration in them.

"You're too reckless," Kuro said, her voice low but firm. "What if something had gone wrong? What if you hadn't-"

"I was fine," Perria interrupted, her tone more serious now. "We don't have time to waste, Kuro. I'll keep pushing forward, and I'll get us all through this. You'll see."

Kuro just sighed, shaking her head but said nothing more. She can't win with this girl, who is even willing to jump in a burning building with no safety procedures just to save others.

"Let's go now," she said, her tone a little softer. "We need to report our mission."

Before either of them could move, their walkie-talkies buzzed at the same time.

"Hunter No. 23 and Hunter No. 40, you are ordered to report to the General Song's office."

Perria's eyes lit up with excitement. "Another mission?! Ah, I wonder what it is..."

Kuro frowned, crossing her arms. "I hope it's not because of you messing up our mission again, Perria."

Perria just grinned. "You worry too much, Kuro! Let's get going!" She grabbed the poor black haired girl's hand and rushed to the HQ.

Kuro sighed, mentally facepalmed yet softened while looking at her.
