Author's note

I had republish and fix this chapter from start to finish. I realize I had make some mistake again (why am I always missed those small details...)
I've fixed who Riki met in this chapter, instead of Jin Hye, it's other character you'll meet later in this chapter.

Again, thank you for your support!

Perria sat stiffly in the backseat, her hands folded neatly in her lap as she stared at the passing scenery through the car window. The air inside the car was heavy with unspoken words, and her awkward silence was only broken by Kuro's audible sigh beside her in the passenger seat.

"I don't know what to expect from you anymore, Perria." Kuro muttered with a sharp tone. Her face frowned as she glared daggers to Perria.

"You should have known better than sneaking out-your wounds hadn't recovered yet." she sighed.

Perria looked down, fiddling with her fingers. Her body shrink in the car seat. "I'm sorry....I'm just craving for desserts so much but the hospital doesn't let me bring it in..."she muttered.

She glanced at the window again, expecting the lectures to continue. But she only heard Kuro's defeated sigh.

"Fine ...I'll sneak in some desserts for you. But no cream, only low sugar muffins." She said.

"Ugh...low sugar muffins..."

Perria's face wrinkled in disgust as if someone gave her a smelly sock as breakfast. After another sharp glare from Kuro, she slumped on her seat with a gave up face.

A masculine yet soft laughter can be heard at the passenger seat,at the front of them.

"Ahaha.. don't worry, the low sugar muffins at this place are delicious compared to the ones at Ciel-1,little Perria." The man said with a grin.

It's a white haired man with a low styled ponytail. His blue with tinged green eyes are full of mischief as he looks at her through the rearview mirror.

"Jin Hye has eaten one out after lose against me out of dare. She seems fine so--perhaps you too. Both of you do share the same braincells after all, little pea." He continued.

"Stop calling me little pea, Noah! I'm not a child anymore!" she pouted, her lips jutting out like a duck's beak.

Noah chuckled, turning back to the road. "Still little to me. Ah, looks like we had arrived."

As the car rolled to a stop in front of the hospital, Perria let out a defeated grunt.

"Ugh... I hate hospitals..." she muttered under her breath.

As the car stopped at the parking lot, the usual sounds of the outside world suddenly faded, replaced by an eerie silence. She blinked, glancing around. The soft hum of the engine, the rush of traffic, even the distant sound of pedestrians--everything had stopped.

"Seems like someone had activated Simulation mode. Must be Jin Hye." Noah said with an indifferent tone.

Perria's eyes suddenly gleaming in excitement. She starts to look around, seems to be plotting something behind their back. Kuro, oblivious to Perria's plan, has her face frowned.

"Then, Homunculus class C above must have appeared. We should send Perria back quickly and aid Sister Ji-"

"Too late,Perria has already gone." Noah cut off her words with a chuckle. Kuro quickly looks beside her, only to realize the grey haired girl has already gone from the sight. Her eyes widened and she rushes out of the car.
