Chapter 5

Riki's eyes widened to see them again.

Two girls who saved him last time is here...Riki tried to stand up but his legs are still wobbly due to shock and remaining dizziness. He held his head,sighing.

"O-oh, careful there!"

Perria darted forward and caught him before he could hit the ground. Her amethyst eyes met his magenta ones, wide in concern.

"Wait,you are that kid-er what's your name again? I forget hehehe." she said sheepishly, eyes darting awkwardly- maybe due shame on having bad memories.

"Its...Riki." he answered,trying to hold onto Perria.

"How can you even move?" the black haired girl he know as Kuro,the girl who beside Perria that day,asks.

"I.... I don't know... I..," his unfocused eyes drifted towards inactive Dracyan.

Kuro sighed as she fambled in her bag to search for something. She is holding a... handcuff?

Perria rises her eyebrow, still holding Riki's arm. "Kuro..?"

Without a second thought, she walks towards Riki and snap the handcuff to his wrist. Riki's dazed eyes widened as he struggled against it, even though knowing he can't open it without a key.

"Kuro, what are you doing?!" Perria shouted.

"Precautions."

"He's just a kid-!"

"And so is the criminal with yoyo you thought innocent before, turns out he is a dangerous shapeshifter." Kuro replied and take Dracyan from the ground

Perria stumbled as she remembered the accident last week ago ,which caused her to get hospitalized right now.

"Hey, give Dracyan back!" Riki gritted his teeth,and lunged for Dracyan . She dodged effortlessly, she grab his arm before he loss imbalance and fall.

"I'll take care of this.. Dracyan, you said first." she put the b-daman in her bag. "I'll give it to you once I'm sure you are trustworthy."

"Excuse me,but he's a he." Riki grumbled

Kuro only looks at him with a deadpanned face and nod "......I'll take care of him for a while." she corrected.

"Kuro...But still .. don't you think it's mean? " Perria asked, with both arms wrapped on her chest. She points dramatically towards Riki,vibrating with offense.

"Look at him! He's dizzy, and he's got sad puppy eyes!" she flails a bit as emphasis.

"Wait- I don't have puppy eyes!" Riki interrupted, momentarily forgetting that he was handcuffed.

Kuro only sighed, a long tired sigh from someone who clearly is done with this "Perria being soft and dramatic towards kids" behaviour.

Their attention shifted to Riki as his b-phone rings. Kuro helps him take it as realize he is struggling with the handcuffs.
She tapped the phone and put the call on the speaker,then put it on Riki's ear.

A girl's voice acho from it.

"Riki,glad you answered! Are you alright in there? The time suddenly stops.."

"A-ah..I'm alright.." he replied,side eyeing both Kuro and Perria. "Where are you now,Sumi..?"

"I'm now at Miracle Shop with Akira and others..but these weird monsters suddenly show up..We are now in hiding.." She answered with a shaky voice. "Also Akira suddenly froze,I don't know why!"she continues.
