Chapter VIII:Another Day In The Life

Y/n's pov:
*boop boop boop*
I was starting to wake up after the relieving night me and Carla had with those robbers. With a yawn, I got out off bed and noticed that Carla's bed was empty.
'mm, she must already be downstairs,why didn't she wake me up? Oh well, time to get ready for a day off from school' I thought.

I took a nice hot bath and changed into a more snazzy yet stylish outfit,since me and Carla already made plans for today.

I checked my reflection one more and smiled
"much better, now to find my dear old cousin"
I said to myself while adjusting my glasses and exit the dorm room.

I made it to the very much lively living room section of the dorms and saw Carla already dress and ready to go.

I smirked ammused at her flashy yet elegant outfit.
"look who finally woke up before me, looking good as always Carla" I teased her because of her not being a very morning person, just like aunt Jeanne is, she looked at me with a chuckle and pulled out the yellow lollipop from her mouth
"And aren't we all comfy today, and yes I woke up early for once, without complaints" she said with a smirk of her own.

Another day in the life for me and her I suppose

"Well your one to talk, we're going shopping, not to a fashion runway" I taunted her with a sassy tone as I pulled up the strap of my purse.
"You look like your off to become the world's no.1 Model in that, wait, isn't that aunt Jeanne's pant suit?" I asked with a mischievous smirk
"she's not going to be very intruge when she sees someone else wearing something she payed alot for" I taunted her further, and she rolled her visible eye at me.
"Tch, please, mother actually gave me this suit, thank you very much, and so what if I want to look good whilst shopping, you on the other had look like your going to buy some Caviar At a wallgreens" she teased, well more like insulted me, I faked a hurt expression and held my hand to my chest
"such a sharp tongue, I feel like a blade just pierced my soul." I said In a hurt tone.
"how you wound me dear cousin" I said crying fakely in my hand.
We both laugh at our banter and grabbed our bags and headed out.

We got to the living room and saw everyone in our class being dressed as well
"And were are you lot off to?"I asked them whilst raising a brow and pushed my glasses up a bit.

"OH well you see,Carlita here invited us to go to the mall with you two" Sero replied with his usual smile and quirky additude.
I turned to face Carla with a
'You must be joking' look on my face. She put on an innocent face and shrugged,which prompted me to roll my eyes and sigh
"I seriously can't with you" I said with a hint of annoyance
"Oh,come on,the more the marrier eh?"she said with a wink

I just let it be so and off we were to the mall
'Just another day in the life for you Carla' I thought to myself in an ammused tone then I realized what sero had called her
'Carlita eh,those two must have a thing for each other~' I hummed in my mind and continued onwards to the mall.
