Two days after receiving a cryptic invite from Navia, Lucius cautiously arrives in the Quartier Lyonnais of the Court of Fontaine.
There, he spots the invitee and Clorinde chatting among themselves.
Clorinde: Still no dice?
Navia: Not at all, and I've asked pretty much everyone in the Court of Fontaine already. Lynette's ears drooped as soon as she heard that we'd have to be out and about for days on end. And Freminet... he hid himself under his helmet as soon as he realized there'd be people around that he didn't know.
Clorinde: What about Chiori and Charlotte? I feel like both of them would be more than up to it.
Navia: I've asked them already, but they're both pretty busy right now. I just gave the members of the Spina a few days off, too, so I don't want to bother them, either...
Clorinde: Hmm... This is getting pretty difficult.
Lucius: Navia, I got your cryptic invite, and now I'm here.
Lucius announces, gaining their attention.
Navia: Oh my! Well if it isn't my dear boyfriend! How are you doing?
Clorinde: Ho... Navia!
Clorinde calls out, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Navia: Huh? ...Ooh! You mean...
Clorinde: Yep, this is our chance...
The two women smirk and then look over to Lucius, who felt a tingle in his spine.
Lucius: I... I should just get going-
He turns around and was about to run, only for Navia and Clorinde to grab him by the shoulders, stopping him.
Lucius: Do... you need something?
Navia: Precisely! My dear boyfriend, we've got a huge problem right now that only you can solve!
Lucius: Is... that so?
Clorinde: Absolutely. We've already exhausted all our other options.
Lucius: Uh... what is the problem?
Navia: Lucius...
She trails off as she leans close to his face.
Lucius: Is... the problem that I haven't kissed you today?
Navia: What? No!
*SMOOCH*
She gives him a kiss on the lips before revealing the true reason.
Navia: Would you join us, and play "Marechaussee Hunter: Judgment Day"!?
Lucius: Marechaussee Hunter: Judgement Day?
Clorinde: It's a new game script by the Tabletop Troupe, a local roleplay adventure club.
Navia: Ever heard of the Tabletop Troupe? They put out games that allow you to participate in a story and roleplay characters with your friends. I've loved their stuff ever since I was a kid.
Lucius: That... sounds cool.
Navia: Clorinde and I are both veteran members of the club. Recently, someone came up with a new script and was looking for people to help playtest it for them. And when they asked, of course I couldn't refuse. I mean, come on, a brand new script! Nobody has ever played it before!
