.

A week after the events that occurred with the Flower Feather Clan, Lucius as well as Paimon arrive at the main hall of Master of the Night-Wind tribe.

There, they would be greeted by the sight of a large Iktomisaurus.

Paimon: Hello there, um...

Iktomisaurus: ...

Lucius: ("Hm, maybe I will understand if I indwell-")

???: You there - what brings you inside this hall?

A man approaches to the two before the Iktomisaurus Elder makes a sound to the man, causing him to stop.

Caholom: Oh, you mean... I see, I see. Sorry, my mistake. Apparently, you are here by invitation, in which case it's my job to make you feel welcome. Some introductions are in order. I am Caholom, one of the priests of our tribe. And this is our Iktomisaur Elder, the Great Tlapopoctiztetl. A living totem among the Masters of the Night-Wind.

Lucius: Tlapopoctiztetl?

Paimon: How'd you get that first try?

Lucius: Skills.

Caholom: In truth, we usually go with "Elder Tlapo" for short. You're welcome to do the same.

Lucius: Alright. Well, to answer your very first question, we were invited here in a rather... unique way.

He says while looking to Elder Tlapo.

Caholom: Ah, I assume you're referring to our elder's special ability. Elder Tlapo has been alive for many centuries, and harbors secrets that even we priests are at a loss to explain, so your reaction is entirely natural. But one thing I can say for sure is that Elder Tlapo has appointed the two of you to an extremely important task. For this reason, I would like to ask you to undergo a test.

Lucius: What kind of test?

Caholom: If it's alright with you, I'll take you to see our chief. He's in a much better position to answer your questions.

Lucius: Alright.

Caholom: Very well. Then please follow me. You can use this scroll to go directly to the Obsidian Altar, where the chief is. Don't worry, it's just one of the many mystical abilities of our tribe.

.

Using the scroll, Lucius, Paimon and Caholom are teleported to another area, an altar of some sorts.

Paimon: Whoa, what was that just now?

Caholom: One of the routine duties of a priest. We attempt to contact the spirits of our ancestors to seek epiphanies and revelations. The chief is just over there. Please wait here while I have a word with him — I'll just be a moment.

Caholom walks off to speak to the chief.

Paimon: Well, the Masters of the Night-Wind are definitely living up to their reputation as the mysterious ones.

Lucius: I kinda dig their mysteriousness.

Paimon: Hm, guess so. Each tribe has their own charm.

Caholom returns and gestures for them to follow him.

Caholom: Alright, I've told the chief why we're here, and now you may speak with him. Right this way.

The two follow Caholom as they stop in front of a tall man sitting down on a mat. He was so tall that even while sitting, he is already eye level with Lucius.
