But their attention would immediately turn to a worried little girl by Muhuru's Gemporium.
Imix: Sh—She's not back yet... I hope nothing bad happened to Master Cheven...
Lucius: Uh, hi? Is something the matter?
Imix looks over to the voice, and upon seeing Lucius with his black veins, she jumps in fright.
Imix: A-Ahh!
Lucius: H-Hey, it's just me.
Imix: S-Sorry, your black veins just caught me by surprise.
Lucius: Ah, I see. Uhm, what's the matter? We saw you being so worried so we thought we'd check on you.
Imix: M—Master Cheven, she... Sh—She went to gather Volcanic Crystals... But, she's still not back yet. I told the guards, but they said that they don't have people to spare. Plus, that area's super dangerous, with tons of monsters and bad guys... They have to finish making preparations before they can try to rescue her... But, it'll be too late by then!
Lucius: Tell me where she went. I'll go look for her.
Imix: So, you'll help? Great! I'll just make a quick sketch to show you where the guards went earlier.
She grabs a pen and paper and quickly sketches out a layout of the area she went to.
Imix: They said Master Cheven might have stopped around here. She might have been forced to go near the Shadow Pin. If that's the case... Then... Please! You have to save her!
Lucius: Don't worry... I will.

Following the map, Lucius would find Cheven in the Sulfurous Veins, where she is surrounded by three bandits, about to charge at her.
Cheven: Get away from me!
Lucius: Hraghh!!
Lucius shouts as a blur of purple zooms and punches one bandit away.
Cheven: ...!
Lucius turns to the remaining two bandits, who seemed surprised at his arrival.
???: Where did you come from!?
Lucius: None of your business.
He fires two Electro chakrams that explode upon contact with the remaining two bandits, causing them to shake erratically from the voltage.
???: A-A-A-A-A-A-A-Ahhhhh!!!
The other bandit, who only got punched away, gets back up to his feet, his eyes instantly widening upon recognising the attacker.
Coztic: Shit! Let's get out of here, boys! Run! Leave the stuff if you wanna live! Drop all of it!
The bandit says to his still electrocuted bandits, who laid on the floor.
Coztic: Oh...
Lucius: Hey.
Coztic: Eep!
Lucius: Scram.
