Hello!
Thank you for sticking with me on this story :) This chapter is purely for me to use as a place to keep all the documents, notes, and other resources you might want to have access to after reading the story itself.
Table of contents:
Official Wings Playlist
Wings Brainstorming Playlist
Document containing the original version of Wings
Wings Artwork
Original queer romance novel about angels and demons: Ethereal
Conclusion
I. First of all, the official Wings playlist
This playlist includes every song that has shown up in this book so far, including duplicates for any songs that appear twice, in the order that they appear. If you are looking to write a middle-of-the-woods mountain romance with heavy religious symbolism and a lot of angst, this playlist is probably a good resource because...obviously.
II. Secondly, the Wings official brainstorming playlist
This one includes any song I considered using in this story, including several that were so close to making the cut, but just couldn't get matched with a chapter in the end.
III. Third, the original version of this story
For those who don't know, Wings didn't start out as the story you see today. When I started writing this, I was twelve years old, with a sort of cool vision but no real writing skills yet. I started it, then had some major life events happen, and had to quit fanfiction entirely. I will warn you: the original version is extremely bad. Do not open this document with expectation that you will get a good story—that's not what it's here for.
I wasn't a good writer, and I didn't know what I was doing. Still, it can be fun to look back on, and I know some people will want to be able to access it, as it is otherwise not accessible on the internet anymore. Additionally, I took a lot of the plot points from this version directly from the original! For example, Will becoming a Guardian was always going to be the loophole they exploit to get around the treaty issues because that's what they did in the original version, albeit the original version rushed it and didn't do it well. As much as I hate my old writing, I also think it's important to preserve it (1) for historical purposes, as the original version was well-liked by a younger audience at the time, and (2) out of respect for the progress I've made.
Open at your own risk.
IV. Fourth, I have the honor of saying that fanart was created of this work!
In order of creation:
Thank you to @Musical_Frog_1 on AO3 for putting in the time and energy that I know it must have taken to create this. It really means a lot to me that someone might every like my writing enough to make art for it, and I really do treasure the fact that someone did <3

Thank you to @I_am_a_dude for also creating fanart! I was so excited to find that there was another person inspired to make a creation based on this fic, and I am honored :) Thank you for the effort you put into it!

And, finally, thank you to @sophia-and-emmie on Tumblr for creating the most recent art of this fic! I was so excited to see this work and to see the quote they decided to use, as it's one of my favorites in the story. Thank you for creating this!
The post on Tumblr:
Obviously if you would like me to take this down let me know, and if anyone else ever makes anything else inspired by this fic, let me know that, too! Prior to this moment, I'd never had someone make fanart based on my fic, so I was so excited to see this :)
V. And finally, I'm writing a book about angels, demons, and humans.
It's an original work, but it tackles many of the same themes as Wings. Called Ethereal, it is a book about an angel and a demon who fall hopelessly in love, teaching each other what kindness and protection look like and eventually taking on the people who have hurt them before. If you are in a bit of a religious-symbolism-as-metaphors-for-queer-love-and-loss kind of phase (can you tell I am?), then here's some links that might be useful to you regarding the book:
Firstly, the cover:
Secondly, the first rough draft—keep in mind it's not edited yet—it will look very different if I ever end up publishing it, and there are one or two scenes left in this draft that are unfinished! But if you're scouring Wattpad for angel/demon stories, I figure you're probably pretty desperate for religious metaphor media. I guess if you are really super desperate for material, you might want to read it! Or, I'll update this link when I eventually finish editing that story—and at that point I'll also post the link to get a hard copy for people who are really going through a religious symbolism phase.
(It's embarrassing that I'm going through a religious symbolism phase this strong. I think I've written four or five stories about angels in the past two years. I'm an atheist; this is not supposed to be my passion.)
(But it's cool, okay?)
Very rough draft (keyword is rough--do not read if you are expecting a polished story!):
VI. Conclusion:
Overall I am very proud of how this story turned out. Although admittedly some sections were a struggle to write (I'm looking at you, Chapter 36, which saw probably eleven or twelve different drafts), I overall really loved this story, and I'm very thankful to anyone who has stuck around and read the whole thing. I am especially thankful to those who have left comments, as comments are, in general, the main way I feel connected to my readers—and it means a lot that someone would take the time to comment on my story to let me know their thoughts.
Thank you for reading :)
I'll see you in the next story.
Yours,
Sunny
