Ruhana comes out of her trance; Vineet's voice from last night is still lingering in her ears. She hasn't blinked her eyes the entire night, yet sleep eludes her. She walks into Bulbul's room but stops in her tracks as she spots Vineet entering.

She knows he will be brainwashing Bulbul again. She watches through the slightly ajar window and sees Vineet settled on the bed while the girl snuggles close to him. He's smoothing her hair, and it seems like a surreal sight. However, it turns bitter in another moment, and Ruhana's heart begins to flutter. She knows he won't leave any chance to manipulate their daughter, and she wants to save her from the same.
Luckily, his phone rings, alerting him, and he leaves the room to attend the call. Ruhana takes her chance and finds that her daughter is upset at the moment. She sits on the bed, and Bulbul snuggles close to her, tending to complain about her father.

"Dadda aaye they, par phir se chale gaye, kitna kaam karte hai!" Bulbul says, her tone laced with sadness.
"Aww, mera bachcha! Dadda ko kaam hoga na isliye gaye hai, abhi aa jayenge," Ruhana tries to comfort her.
