As they reach home, Bulbul walks into her room, showing her displeasure to her mother. A while ago, she was the one who was encouraging Ruhana to go on a breakfast date, but now, she’s upset and feels betrayed by her mother. She believes that Ruhana is trusting outsiders and the news over her husband. However, the news could be fake, couldn't it? Every now and then, you see fake news on social media. Bulbul doesn’t want to believe the news; she’s only hoping that all of it will be declared fake.

Ruhana sighs deeply, but Aanya’s words ring in her mind. Her friend has asked her to talk to her daughter, to explain the situation to her. However, it is hard since Bulbul is a daddy’s girl, and she never listens to Ruhana. Yes, things have changed lately between the mother and daughter. Ruhana feels a pang in her heart.

She’s still stunned by the way her daughter shouted at her a little while ago, but she knows she needs to talk to her

She’s still stunned by the way her daughter shouted at her a little while ago, but she knows she needs to talk to her. She takes baby steps towards her daughter’s room and peeps inside. She finds Bulbul sitting on the bed, hugging her soft toy, a koala bear. She’s actually complaining to that soft toy of hers. It’s the toy her father got her on her first birthday. The little girl named it Koya. Ruhana’s heart longs to hug her daughter, but the words leaving Bulbul’s mouth shock her.

“Mumma ko pata nahi kya ho gaya hai, Koyu? Hamesha papa pe gussa karti rehti hain, unko lagta hai, Papa kuch galat kaam kar rahe hain, par aisa nahi hai na, Koyu. Mumma toh kya, Aanya maasi ko bhi lagta hai papa kuch galat kar rahe hain, par wo kaise kar sakte hain?”

“Aur wo news wale bhi fake news dikha rahe hain. Tujhe pata hai aajkal log galat galat khabar dikhaate hain, toh ye bhi galat hogi. Fir main Mumma ko bataungi ki wo kitni galat baatein soch rahi hai, huh!”

“Mumma ko toh Papa hamesha galat hi lagte hain, huh, pata nahi kya problem ho gai hai inko. Koyu, main papa ki baat karti hoon toh Mumma taal deti hain, I hate her for this, unko lagta hai bas wo sahi hai,” Bulbul murmurs into the ears of her koala bear.

Unbeknownst to Bulbul, Ruhana has heard everything and she’s quite shocked at the moment. She’s hurt by Vineet’s actions already, and now Bulbul is blaming her for something she has not done. She’s just trying to show the mirror to her daughter, but the girl doesn’t want to look into it.

Ruhana steps back, dazed. Her daughter thinks otherwise. She knows that if she says something at the moment, Bulbul won’t understand it. She needs to give it time and also find out about Vineet’s next move. Leaving her daughter alone, she walks into her room and sits on the edge of the bed, sighing deeply. Tears trickle down her eyes as she reflects upon the incidents of the last few days.

Her argument with Vineet, his challenge to push her down in Bulbul’s eyes, and now, the accusations against him

Her argument with Vineet, his challenge to push her down in Bulbul’s eyes, and now, the accusations against him. She wants to acknowledge them and push him into jail, but that’s not the way. She needs to find a proper way to expose him and also to bring his reality in front of her daughter. It’s a hefty way ahead.

On the other hand, in an abandoned warehouse, Vineet stands facing a group of men. He looks clearly annoyed at them. He scolds them, his tone rash and hurtful.

“Mujhe samajh nahi aata, ye khabar media tak pahuchi kaise? Zaroor yahin koi dhokhebaz hai, hum mein se koi,” Vineet grits his teeth in anger.

“Kya bol rahe ho, boss? Aisa nahi ho sakta,” one of his men says.

“Aisa hi hai! Nahi toh media tak ye khabar kaise pahuchi ki wo drug consignment hamara hai, mera naam kaise aaya? Ye toh kisi andarwale ka hi kaam ho sakta hai,” Vineet yells

“Aisa hi hai! Nahi toh media tak ye khabar kaise pahuchi ki wo drug consignment hamara hai, mera naam kaise aaya? Ye toh kisi andarwale ka hi kaam ho sakta hai,” Vineet yells.

“Saab, aapko toh pata hai, hum aapke kahe pe chalte hain, hum apne pair pe kulhadi kyu maarenge?” another man asks, his voice trembling.

“Toh mujhe batao kisne kiya? Wo drug consignment kaise pakda gaya? Koi toh mila hoga na. Ab mujhe sach sunna hai, batao kisne bataya police ko? Ya toh tum logon ne kuch kiya hai, ya hamare beech mein koi dushman ghus aaya tha,” Vineet yells at his men again.

“Boss, humein nahi pata kuch bhi, aap galat samajh rahe ho. Mujhe toh lagta hai, kahin ye uss Rocky ki koi chaal toh nahi?” another man speaks.

“Haan, aapko yaad hai na boss, kaise ek saal pehle wo ek inspector…kya naam tha uska…haan Vikrant, wo Viky ban ke hamare gang mein shamil ho gaya tha. Wo toh achcha hua ki hume samay par pata chal gaya toh hum logon ne usse chhutkara paa liya, lekin iss baar kaun hai, samajh nahi aata,” he adds, adding doubts in Vineet’s mind.

“Ho sakta hai, iss Rocky se milna padega,” Vineet says, and directs his men to move out.

However, as he turns to walk out of the warehouse, he’s left shocked as a bunch of policemen enter the warehouse, leaving him stunned.
