Bulbul feels uneasy when Swara mentions wanting to talk about her father. The girl hesitates initially, but when Bulbul insists, Swara ensures there’s no one around.
“Kya hua, Swara? Tumhe jo kehna hai wo kaho na, mujhse kuch kehne ke liye tum itna hesitate kyun kar rahi ho?” Bulbul demands an answer.
“Actually, Bulbul, shayad tum meri baat par yakeen nahi karogi, lekin yahi sach hai. Par mujhe samajh nahi aa raha ki tumse kaise kahoon,” Swara says, hesitating.
“Arey, Swara, please batao na kya baat hai. Mujhe darr lag raha hai,” Bulbul says, clearly stressed, not knowing what’s coming next.
“Dekho, Bulbul, please meri baat shaanti se sunna aur phir react karna. I know, shayad tumhe meri baat par vishwas na ho, lekin tum jaake apni mom se puch sakti ho, unhe toh pata hogi hi,” Swara says, her tone soft yet deliberate.
“Maine recently Vineet uncle ke baare mein kuch rumours suni hain. I hope ye sach na ho, par agar ye sab sach hai toh ye saari baatein tumhe pata honi chahiye,” Swara says, her tone laced with urgency.

“Aisa bhi kya ho gaya hai, Swara? Mumma bhi kuch baatein kar toh rahi thi, par mujhe pata hai, mere papa aisa kuch nahi kar sakte. Vo kabhi galat nahi kar sakte,” Bulbul retorts, her tone firm.
“But he is involved in some dangerous and illegal activities, Bulbul. Tumhe pata lagana chahiye na. You deserve to know it all, aur main toh jhooth nahi keh rahi hun. Meri cousin Ridhi ke sath hi aisa hua hai. I… I can bring her to meet you, Bulbul,” Swara says, her tone soft yet pleading.

Bulbul looks at her with wide eyes, a chill running down her spine. “Aisa nahi ho sakta, Swara. Mere papa aisa nahi kar sakte,” she retorts.
