Chapter 16

Natalies POV

Jemma called up mum to ask her if it was alright to go to pool now. Jem got off the phone to mum and said we can go to the pool. We had to go home first to get our togs (bathers) and other stuff we needed for the pool. Ashton was picking us up in 10 minutes so after I got change I went downstairs and turned on the TV and flicked to the music channel.

“NATALIEEEEEE” Jemma shouted

“JEMMMAAA” I shouted back

“Can you come up to our room for a second?” she asked

“Everyone is going to see my scars on my legs” she panicked

“They have to find out sometime” I said sadly

“Who will find out what?” Calum ask walking towards

“Oh it’s nothing don’t worry” Jemma said as she hugged Calum

“Well let’s go to the pool!” Ashton said as we get into the car

We arrived at the pool, Luke, Michael, Jasper and Megan where already there we went and sat with them and chatted for a while. I got to learn a lot about Megan she has known Michael since she was little she is in Jemma’s classes but she is not in any of mine though.

“LET’S GO SWIMMING!!!” Luke shouted

“TO THE POOL” Calum shouted

All the boys striped off their tops and did a bomb in the pool. We were the only people at the pool so it was good I striped off into my bikini and went and jumped on Luke. I saw Calum trying to get Jem in to the pool, I know she didn’t want to get in the pool but I also knew with Calum’s cuteness she would give in.

Jemmas POV

Back in Melbourne with all the bullying and teasing made me cut I couldn’t take it anymore I was so angry and the only way I got out the anger was to cut, I thought it was the only way. Nat found out when I keep locking myself in the bathroom and crying while I was in there. I guess I didn’t want Calum to know I used to cut because im scared he will judge me.

“Babe are you coming in?” Calum asked

“Umm yeah I will be in a sec” I said

I could of worn shorts but they will have to find out one day, I was gunna wear shorts if other people were here but no one else is here so I guess it’s time for them to find out about my secret. I strip off into my bikini and get a wolf whistle from Calum I turn around to face them no one was looking so I quickly ran to the pool and bombed into it. I felt Calum coming up behind me so turned around to scared him but he was so close we bumped heads, great now I will have an egg on my head.

“Megan are you coming in?” I asked

“Yeah sorry I was on the phone” she replied

We spent 2 hours in the pool when we got out the sun was still out so us girls decided to sun bake we laid our towels down on the grass and laid there we spent 10 minutes sunbaking because we got bored and could be doing better stuff so we sat with the boys still in our bikini I think the boys liked it. I sat only Calum and started talking about life and that’s when he looked down at my legs and just hugged me tightly tears started falling from my eyes we sat there like that for a while until Michael got up put a top back on and left so did Luke, Ashton, Jasper, Nat and Megan left as well leaving me alone with Calum, I guess I have to tell him.

“Jem you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to okay?” I said as I moved in-between his legs

“No you have to know” I said smiling faintly

I explain everything what happen and why we moved here, he just sat there and listened which was good because I knew he understood. Once I finished he just hugged me tightly I hugged back tightly too.

“Jem you are amazing you know that, you are so strong, you are beautiful, you are not weird, I am  lucky to have you in my life you are incredible, I love you” he said to me

“I love you too” that’s all I could say

I got up and helped Calum up to I put my clothes over my bikini and Calum put his top on we walked home in silence it wasn’t awkward silence it was a good silence we got to my house and we stood out the front, I hugged him and a goodnight kiss. I walked back inside when the doorbell rang I went back to the door and answered it Calum was standing there.

“Can I come in?” he asked

“Of course” I smiled

He walked up to my bedroom knocked on the door because it was closed and then entered he went over to Nat and hugged her whispered something to her and came over to me hugged and kissed me and left.

“What did he say to you?” I asked Nat

“He said thankyou to me for being there by your side and stopping you” she said with a smile on her face

“Awwh” I said with a smile

I got ready to go to bed then said goodnight to everyone I was all comfy in my bed when my phone goes off, it’s a message from Cal.

I put my phone back on charge and fell asleep with a smile one my face.
