Chapter 14

Monday morning –

Nats pov

I woke up to Jemma dancing around the bedroom all happy.

‘What are you doing?’ I asked her

‘Getting ready for school, where I get to see Calum’

Right so that explains why she was so happy. I got up and hoped in the shower, I was hoping today was going to go well. All I wanted was to make some friends that were girls and make a good first impression. I hadn’t seen Luke since Friday and to be honest I kind of missed him, we texted but it just wasn’t the same. I jumped out the shower dried myself off and got dressed into my skirt and shirt that I had bought when I went shopping with Luke. I walked down stairs to find Jemma, she was texting which meant she was most likely going to ignore me.

‘Jemma have you seen my lip balm’ I asked but was ignored me like I thought

Ever since she and Calum have been dating it’s like I don’t even exist. So I went and jumped on her and asked again where my lip balm was.

‘Second draw in the bathroom’ she said without taking her eyes of the phone

I got some cereal and ate with Jasper, he seemed kind of nervous about going to school. The only person he knows in his year will be Ashton. I went back upstairs to the bathroom brushed my teeth put my hair up into a pony tail on the side with a pink ribbon and put some lip balm on.

‘NATALIE’ I heard Jem yell from the lounge room

‘WHAT’ I yell back

‘Someone’s at the door, come answer it’

I swear that girl is getting lazier every day, she was only sitting 2 metres away from the door. I walked down stairs and gave her a death stare but she just smiled and stared at me. I opened the door and saw Luke standing there with something in his hand.

‘Hey Luke what you doing here’ I asked him

He bent down on his knee and opened a box, then looked up at me and said

‘I know we only just met but there’s something about you that I love. You always make me smile when I’m around you. Today we have school and I can’t go without asking you this first because I’m afraid all the other guys will steal you from me and I wouldn’t be able to cope with that. So Nat will you be my girlfriend’ he asked as he pulled a Ringpop (lolly in the shape of a ring) out of the box and put it on my finger.

I had a tear run down my face from his cuteness. I gave him a massive bear hug and wrapped my arms around his neck. He picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist before pushing the door shut so Jemma would stop staring at us.

‘Is that a yes?’ He asked me

‘Of course it’s a yes!’

He kissed me slow and soft then pulled away and asked

‘Can we pretend that was the first time?’

‘Sure’

He put me down and I grabbed his hand opened the door and went upstairs to my room. Followed by Jemma of course, she is such a snoop. I sat my Ringpop beside my table grabbed my bag and headed for the bus. I walked with Luke and Jemma followed behind with Jasper.

‘Luke is Calum defiantly going to be on the bus?’ Jemma asked for the second time

‘Yes Jemma he always catches this bus!’ Luke replied

‘Ok’

We sat at the bus stop for about 5 minutes before the bus arrived

Calums pov

Luke had just texted me saying he was on his way to the girls house. He was finally going to ask Nat out I was so happy for them and I wasn’t supposed to tell anyone but I had to tell Jemma. I couldn’t keep it a secret do I texted Jemma to make sure that Nat would open the door. About half an hour later I got on the bus and got a text from Luke saying

~ I have the most beautiful girlfriend ever! ~

I was happy for him even though my girlfriend is more beautiful I wasn’t really in the mood to argue. The bus pulled up at Jemma’s, Nat and Jaspers bus stop where Luke was today as well. I had saved a seat next to me and two in front of me. I saw Jemma run on the bus looking around, Luke walked on behind her and pointed to where I was. She walked down and jumped on my lap.

‘Hey beautiful’

‘I’ve missed you so much! It’s been like 2 days’ she replied a bit sad as she hugged me and dug her head into my neck.

Luke and Nat came and sat in front of us leaving the only seat left for Jasper next to me and Jemma. I gave Luke the look saying good job before he turned his concentration back to Nat. we pulled up at the next stop and Mikey and Ash come on yelling at Luke saying

‘Congrats Man’

Nat must have looked embarrassed coz they stopped and Luke hugged her tighter. Nat sat on Luke’s lap so Mike could sit down and Ashton stood up and talked to Jasper about games.

Not long after the bus pulled up at school.
