"Call off the search for your soul, or put it on hold again," -No. 1 Party Anthem by the Arctic Monkeys
"The League of Villains have escaped the maximum security prison, Tartarus."
The entire Class of 1-A, including Aizawa, was fixated on the TV screen in the dorms. The news of the LOV's escape was being broadcasted. It had almost been a month since you had detained them. Your body shifted uncomfortably on the couch, your arms hugging your knees that you brought up to your chest. Without noticing, you began to tap your feet and fidget with your hands anxiously awaiting for the news reporter to keep talking.
"The pro heroes and police force are putting their complete effort into locking them back up. If you spot any of these people on the screen in person, please report it to your..."
"What the fuck?!" Bakugo shot up from the couch, yelling towards the TV. Tiny sparks emitted from his hands, leaving a smoky after-smell.
Aizawa glared daggers through the raging blonde. Bakugo silenced his voice, but his anger was still noticeably fuming. Shaking his head, Aizawa announced, "None of you are to do a thing-"
The room began to crowd with noise. Your classmates arose from their seats on the couch, arguing with Aizawa, who seemed to be set on his decision.
"Silence! I said this once, and I'll say it again. None of you, you hear me, none of you are to do a thing about this. If I hear so much as a peep-"
"Mr. Aizawa, why can't we help?" Kirishima pleaded, interrupting the enraged teacher. The spiky red-head stood up next to Bakugo, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"If you wouldn't interrupt- you would've heard me say that it's too dangerous," the sullen teacher stated ferociously. His eyebags had grown darker since your first encounter with him.
"But, sir!" Izuku protested, taking a step towards Aizawa. "We're learning to become true heroes! How will we ever progress without overcoming challenges like these?"
"Sir, I would like to help too," you turned away from the TV screen, placing your focus on the commotion around you. "I want- I need to do this. This is something I want to fight for. Please."
Aizawa sighed, his shoulders drooping down as a tell tale sign of his wavering opinions. "I suppose I could work things out with the other teachers and heroes. Do not get too excited yet. This is not a complete guarantee." The whole class agreed and thanked him, without much thought to the warnings. Aizawa soon left to carry out his half-promises.
"God, this is so stupid!" Kaminari slammed down the homework he was writing onto the wooden coffee table. His pen flung across the room, but he didn't pay much mind to it. He bawled his hands into fists and shook them. "How were they able to escape so easily? Isn't it literally made to keep them inside?"
"Don't be childish," Iida began to command, "clearly this is bigger than us. There is something behind the scenes that the curtain is covering."
You hummed, stretching your arms over top of your head. Did the villains' escape have anything to do with their connection to the camp? Bakugo paced back and forth behind the couch on which you sat. His heavy panting could be seen natural for him, but really revealed his true stress. Not before long, he slumped down in a spot on the couch right beside you.
Most of your classmates had disappeared to other locations, with some stragglers left behind in the common room and kitchen. They were all too busy in their own business to have any care for yours. You took this as an opportunity to vocalize your thoughts. "Katsuki."
Bakugo was wearing a black hoodie and grey sweatpants. The fabric morphed around his muscles seamlessly. The blonde hair that covered his face was even more fluffy than normal, puffing out around his head. The scent he gave off was a thick caramel aroma, no doubt from the nitroglycerin that encased his skin. Despite his rough personality, he appeared to have soft, even moisturized skin. He furrowed his eyebrows at the sound of his name, "What do you want?"
"There's something I didn't tell you," you paused, hesitating to see his initial reaction. Am I making the right choice?
"What the fuck are you waiting for, then?" He shifted his body to the side, more ample to hearing your soft whispers. His crimson red eyes locked contact with your e/c ones.
But before you could speak, two hands were placed on either side of your shoulders. Overtop of your head appeared an upside-down Izuku.
"Izuku?! What are you doing?" you jumped, startled from the sudden showing. His smile was brighter than the Sun.
Izuku hopped around to the front side of the couch, to where he was able to face you and Bakugo. "Well, I was thinking," your brother began cheerfully, "since none of us are busy, let's hangout!"
"Oh fuck no," Bakugo shook his head in denial. He stood up to take his leave, but you grabbed his wrist to pull him back down.
After Bakugo lightly escaped from your grasp, Izuku continued. "Kacchan, don't be so negative. I was thinking us three and Todoroki could possibly go out shopping or something?"
"Shopping?" you chuckled. "Since when did you like shopping that much?"
Izuku brushed the back of his head with his hand, "I don't know, what do you want to do then?"
"I mean, we could go out to eat, go to a festival, go to the beach..." you listed, pointing at your fingers as you went on.
Todoroki approached behind your green-haired brother. As monotone as ever, he added, "I don't mind where we go at all."
"Kacchan, are you going come with us?"
The blonde rolled his eyes before giving you a deathly side-eye. "I can't let Y/N kill herself from boredom with you two."
"Well, since you're just so adamant about going, why don't you pick where we go?" Todoroki sassed off Bakugo's snarky comment.
"Fuji-Q Highland, you pussies."
