Your alarm went off, but you were already awake. Annoyed, you slammed your hand on the "stop" button. You groaned, "Ughhhh."

"Why so sad? It's your first day at U.A.!" Izuku was always a big morning person. You were the opposite.

"Too early," you yawned, stretching your arms in the air.

"Well hurry up! I want to leave in an hour!"

"Jeez, I'm hurrying," you mumbled and began to climb off the ladder of the bunk.

You changed into your uniform, got ready, packed your backpack, and headed out the house with Izuku.

"So hungry," you dragged your words and your feet. "Why didn't we eat at home?"

"There's a new cafe! I wanted to try it with you!" Izuku smiled at you.

"Sounds good!" the mention of food soon being in your stomach was enough to wake you up.

When you got to the cafe, Izuku opened the door for you and followed behind you. While you looked at the menu, he got in line behind a short-haired brunette girl. Izuku seemed to be closely examining her, before skeptically saying, "Uraraka?"

The brunette turned around, "Deku?"

"Um," you said, reminding them of your presence.

"Oh, hi! Are you one of Deku's friends, too?" the brunette asked excitedly.

"Well, she's actually my twin sister," Izuku said, rubbing the back of his head with his hand.

"Really! You never told us you had a twin, much less a sister! My names Ochaco Uraraka! It's nice to meet you!" she smiled delightedly.

"Y/N Midoriya, it's nice to meet you too."

Uraraka turned back around to the cashier and ordered. Afterwards, Izuku ordered both of you an iced coffee and donut.

With the iced coffee and donut in hand, you suddenly felt ready for the day!

Oh, who were you kidding. You were still dreading your next 3 years at this school.

Uraraka joined you and your brother on the bus. They mainly spoke to each other while you listened to their conversations. Eventually, you had made it all the way up the stairs to U.A.

You stopped at the huge entrance, the aura from inside the school feeling way different from the outside.

Uraraka and your brother were already inside the building. Izuku asked. "You ready, Y/N?"

"Yep," you replied, bracing yourself as you took a step forward into the school.

Making your way to the classroom, Uraraka asked, "Are you excited for your first day at U.A.? I love it here! Hero training is my personal favorite!"

"I think hero training is everyone's favorite..." Izuku mumbled.

"Oh, yeah- sure I'm excited," you lied, to not make things awkward. "Just a little nervous, that's all."

"Don't be! I'm know everyone going to love you!"

"Yeah, Y/N," Izuku started, "you'll make friends just fine, I'm sure of it."

After a while, you had made your way to the classroom that said "Class 1-A." Making your way inside, there was a certain someone who immediately caught your eye.

A certain spiky-haired blonde, was sitting at a desk on the opposite side of the room, with his feet propped on top of the desk. A blue-haired boy was yelling at him while making robot moves. The whole classroom was full of unique faces.

"Guys!" Uraraka announced, "This is our new student, Y/N Midoriya!"

"You guys can just call me Y/N," you smiled and tilted your head.

A pink girl ran over to you, followed by another girl and a guy. "OMG! The new student is another girl! I'm so excited! I'm Mina Ashido!"

"Heyo, I'm Denki Kaminari."

"I'm Kyoka Jiro."

The pink girl grabbed your arm and raised it in the air alongside her own. "I claim her as a Bakusquader!" She grabbed your other hand, and said, "I can already tell we're gonna be best friends!"

You couldn't help but laugh with her at the interaction. Maybe this year wasn't going to be as hard as you had thought.

Soon enough, the whole class had circled around you, each and every one introducing themselves.

However, you could sense the presence of a certain someone's eyes gazing over you. You turned around, and just as you suspected, Bakugo had been watching. When he saw you look back, he rolled his eyes and opened up his phone. You wanted to say something, but decided not to unpack that case just yet. Instead you focused on memorizing all the new names.

"The bell rang 10 seconds ago. You should be in your seats by now," a voice boomed through the room.

Everyone scurried back to their seats, and you took this moment to examine your teacher. He was wrapped in a yellow sleeping bag, which made him look like a banana. His face was ungroomed and the bags under his eyes made you guess he hadn't slept in weeks. He opened his mouth and said, "This is Y/N Midoriya, she is our new student. You may sit in the open seat over there. I am Mr. Aizawa. That is all." After his brief speech, he fell onto the floor, supposedly asleep.

This time, instead of circling you, your classmates went into their different friend groups. On the opposite side of the room, you saw your brother with Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, and Tsu.

Next to you was Mina, who was with Kaminari, Jiro, Kirishima, Sero, and Bakugo. Mina announced, "All in favor for Y/N joining the Bakusquad, say 'aye!'"

"Aye!" Kaminari, Jiro, Kirishima, and Sero all shouted.

"Tch," Bakugo rolled his eyes at you and Mina.

"Majority rules! Everyone welcome Y/N Midoriya to the Bakusquad!" She dazzled her hands at you, pretending to show you off.

You jokingly bowed, saying, "Thank you, thank you."

"To celebrate, we should all hangout tonight!" Kaminari proposed.

"We should play video games and watch movies," Jiro added.

"We can do this at my house, if that's okay with everyone?" Kirishima asked. Everyone nodded, excited for the plan to come.

You could feel the fire that had been snuffed out inside you begin to spark again.
