taylors pov:

I wake up to the soft hum of the ocean outside our Rhode Island house. The December air is cold, but the sunlight streaming through the curtains casts a warm glow on the room. For a brief moment, I think it’s just another morning, another day of life and work. But then I see the balloons tied to the bedpost and the little note on the nightstand in Travis’s unmistakably messy handwriting:

"Happy Birthday, my love. Today’s all about you. Get ready for the best day ever."

I smile, my heart swelling. Travis has this way of making every moment feel special, but I know he’s been planning something extraordinary for today.

The smell of coffee wafts through the air as I slip on a cozy sweater and head downstairs. To my surprise, the kitchen is empty—no Travis, no elaborate breakfast spread. Just a simple cup of coffee with another note:

"Dress warm and meet me outside x"

travis's pov:

I’ve been planning this day for weeks. Taylor deserves the world, and on her birthday, I want to give her as close to that as I can. After sneaking out of bed this morning, I set the stage for the first surprise: a private breakfast picnic on the beach.

She steps outside, bundled up in her coat and scarf, her hair loosely tied back. Even with her minimal effort, she looks breathtaking.

“Happy birthday, babe,” I say, pulling her into a warm hug.

She laughs softly. “What are you up to?”

“You’ll see.” I take her hand and lead her down the path to the beach, where a small table is set up with her favorite breakfast foods—pancakes, fresh fruit, and, of course, a steaming pot of Earl Grey tea.

The ocean sparkles under the winter sun as we sit together, laughing and reminiscing. She leans her head on my shoulder, her fingers intertwined with mine. “This is perfect,” she whispers.

taylors pov:

After breakfast, we head back to the house, where I’m greeted by a chorus of “Happy Birthday!” from our closest friends and family. Kylie and Jason are here with their girls, as are my parents, Andrea and Scott, and Travis’s mom, Donna. Blake and Ryan show up with their kids, Sabrina somehow made it with her tour, Gracie, Lana, Selena, Jack and Margaret all showed up aswell.

The house is alive with chatter and laughter as everyone gathers around to celebrate. There’s a stack of presents on the table, but what catches my eye is the homemade birthday cake on the counter.

“I baked it myself,” Donna says, grinning. “Travis helped... a little.”

“Hey!” Travis protests, pretending to be offended.

“Thank you,” I say, hugging her.

gracie's pov:

Taylor’s parties are always something special. I watch her move around the room, glowing with happiness. When she comes over to me, I hand her a small, carefully wrapped box.

“It’s nothing big,” I say, suddenly feeling shy.

Taylor opens it and gasps. It’s a delicate bracelet with a tiny charm that says "forever & always"

“It’s perfect,” she says, pulling me into a hug.

travis's pov:

As the evening winds down, I pull Taylor aside. “There’s one more thing.”

Her eyes light up. “Another surprise?”

“Of course. You didn’t think I was done, did you?”

I lead her to the living room, where a guitar sits propped up. “Play us something,” I say.

Taylor laughs but picks up the guitar. She starts strumming, her voice filling the room as everyone gathers around. It’s a moment of pure magic, her music reminding us all why we love her so much.

taylor's pov:

As the night ends, I find myself on the couch with Travis, a blanket draped over us. The house is quiet now, everyone either gone or asleep.

“Did you have a good birthday?” he asks, his voice soft.

I look at him, my heart full. “The best,” I say, leaning in to kiss him.
